terrible of everything. the room is more than 420 dollars per nite. I willgive probably 150 dollars per nite only woth.
Pros:

very noisy, not worth the money

Cons:

1, wifi not working, tried to call the reception many times,nobody has ever picked up. went to the reception next morning, the staff said my surname was typed wrong. after correction, still not working. tried four devices. then surprisingly the staff asked me to call the technical support? is that what the staff supposed to do?
2,there is no kettle in the room。they sent me a kettle wrapped with a trash bag. hahaha, interesting
3,car park over nite is supposed to be 19 dollars for 24 hours. I parked 26 hours straight, they charged me 38 dollars. how funny is that

Is this property safe for females?
Pros:

Daughter, single female, traveling alone was walked last night. Left on her own to go to Burbank. Told “we knew weeks ago” we were oversold. Also told nothing else is available in Pasadena. Simply not true, she found a room down the street in 2 minutes.

Is this property safe for female travelers?

Shame on you Marriott!

Westin cancelled my reservation at the last minute.
Pros:

I had a confirmed reservation here with Westin for about a month. At the very last minute (2.5 days before my stay) they bumped me as they were apparently frantically oversold. They were unwilling to offer any comparable option elsewhere and left me to find my own room.

So be aware that they might simply cancel your reservation at anytime and leave you homeless.

POOL CLOSED
Pros:

Decent hotel. Clean rooms, housekeeping comes in to clean daily. Nice lobby and indoor/outdoor sitting areas.

The main issue is that the pool is closed and there is almost no mention of it on Westin Pasadena website. Not on main page, booking, or 'hotel details' section. There is a notice if you go into 'wellness' section that the pool is closed for repairs and upgrades. It feels like they are being intentionally deceitful about the pool being closed, which is troubling because their outdoor, rooftop pool is a main feature of this hotel. From what I can tell from other reviews, the pool has been closed since the summer? We were there for 7 days and no work was being done on the pool whatsoever, not one person was even in the area. Disappointing.

I'll come again but would love it if you could update a few facilities.
Pros:

Nice welcoming staff
Great location
Beautiful building & interior

Cons:

The bath/ shower plumbing in Rm 319 is dreadful.
The knobs for the faucet barely funtions
The coffee machine is awful. Almost impossible to boil water for tea without sputtering steam overflowing

This is our 4th or 5th trip. Great stay, good value and wonderful front desk!!!
Pros:

Exceptional front desk staff. My was amazing and so helpful with everything, Location is great, rooms are clean and comfortable and there is a great fitness center.

They use cheap beautyrest mattress instead of Westin signature Heavenly bed
Pros:

We were excited to take a great night sleep after booking at Westin Pasadena. We loved our stays in Westin in South Coast and Westin Sacramento from the heavenly bed experience. Unfortunately, our experience in Pasadena was subpar. This Westin is, not like the other Westin, using cheaper brands, even the toilet paper are so thin. This hotel is below standard of a Westin.
