Spacious room for 4. great location and everywhere was within easy reach! Plenty of restaurants and shops in the neighbourhood. Staff was super helpful especially R-Jei!

Very friendly and helpful service. Clean, modern (with great contemporary art throughout). Got stranded by Air France and Hotel Milu held my room for me so I could spend an extra night without waiting to check into a different room. Very nice breakfast buffet staff.

Cutest hotel right on high street fashion retail. One of the night shift workers, Jenni was incredibly patient and kind. She recommended places to eat and she was very patient with all of our questions. We had a drainage issue with our shower and our hair dryer being broken and she addressed it quickly with maintenance. She is very sweet and deserves recognition. We asked her for food recommendations and shopping recommendations, she took the time to do some research and help us. We really appreciated all she did to make us feel comfortable and ensure our stay was fabulous. The hotel gives you a free glass of Prosecco too!

Hotel Milu has quickly become my favorite hotel in Florence. The location is second to none, right in the heart of the luxury shopping district. I’ve had a “Prada view” room the past two times I’ve stayed. Gliding down the centuries-old staircase surrounded by captivating contemporary art is the perfect way to start the day. It takes mere minutes to cut through Palazzo Strozzi on the way to Caffè Gilli for a morning cappuccino. It’s all so dreamy. The Deluxe rooms are huge with tons of storage — more than enough space for two of us to spend a week without tripping over each other — and spotlessly clean. But it’s the people who really make Hotel Milu shine. The front desk staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and kind. And the service is truly special, with every ask accommodated seamlessly and treats and personalized notes left when we arrived and part way through our stay. I’ll be back, soon. I kind of don’t want the secret to get out about how amazing they are so I can keep Hotel Milu to myself, but they deserve all the 5-star reviews.

The location was perfect, the atmosphere beautiful and causy, the rooms comfortable and fancy, the cleanliness always bright, the service and the staff more than friendly and o huge value for money!! We will come back soon !!!!

I loved everything about this hotel. It’s very well located, not too far from the train station and on a high-end shopping street that’s quite central to everything Florence has to offer.

You know how with some hotels there’s no good place to put your things? Not so at the Milu. The room was extremely well designed, with a wealth of storage and lots of thoughtful touches like extra mirrors and a coat rack. With all that, plus a super comfortable bed, it was just so easy to feel at home and settle in for my four-night stay.

It’s stylish, too. The artwork throughout the hotel was interesting and fun. Very happy with this choice. I would definitely stay here again and I would look for any sister Hotel’s in the group.

Hotel Milu is amazing. You won't find a better place. The staff are wonder, they go above and beyond to make your stay the best. My room was just like the photos. I can't say enough good things about how great the service was, how nice the people are and how wonderful the entire staff are. The front desk staff are top-notch, the cleaning service and everyone else, are just absolutely the best. My room was spacious and super clean. The location is the best you will find, it is near everything a visitor will want to see. I felt very at home, and the breakfast was excellent. I highly recommend you enjoy the wonderful breakfast. I am so glad I opted for the on-site breakfast that came with the pleasant smiles of the staff. A great way to start the day. The front desk was kind and helped me with things like directions and local shopping. This hotel is great, and the people working there are what make it so special. Everyone seemed very happy to help with anything. I love the art books on the 5th floor. I can't wait to visit again! Thank you Team Milu!

We enjoyed a posh and comfortable stay. This sophisticated and stylish hotel is all about guest comfort and convenience. All hotel staff with whom we interacted were professional, friendly and extremely helpful. Ylenia and Leslie were particularly exemplary. Thank you, MiLU, for an absolutely wonderful experience.

It’s a great hotel in the best location of Florence. It’s within walking distance of every major site and great restaurants. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. The rooms are ultra modern and so is the hotel. They serve a good breakfast as well. And if you’re an artist like I am or an art lover, there is original artwork on every floor!

My 3 rating is exclusively at result of the reservations process and the failure of the agent to provide customer service until forced. I picked Milu because of their TA rating. I needed 3 rooms. I found TA rates less than those offered direct from hotel. I contacted the hotel asking if they would honor TA rates as I preferred to book direct. I was referred to hotel site to book direct. They ignored my request to honor the rate so I booked through TA. This is where it goes south. The hotel now tells me they have a reservation for 6 rooms uncancellable and unreimbursable booked through Expedia (apparently TA uses Expedia). The hotel clearly knew my reservation was for 3 rooms not 6 as they had emails from me. I was told I needed to contact Expedia to resolve the issue....when I have not reserved through them. Lorenzo...the agents job is reservations...you would think he would make a few calls. This is when I had to throw a tantrum ...emails and phone calls to hotel. I had to guilt them into providing some basic service. This goes on but bottom line...my only confirmation received from TA was for 3 rooms. My credit card was only charged for 3 rooms. I was told I still needed to call Expedia to authorize cancellation of the added 3 rooms. When I did...they had no record. Apparently only the hotel had a 6 room issue. A lot of angst, a lot of angry mails and phone calls, a lot of wasted time. If only Mr. Lorenzo was responsible and willing to lift a finger, all could have been avoided. The hotel is nice, accommodations are good, the location was great, the ladies at reception were great. It's sad there couldnt have been reasonable support up front.

My wife and I spent 4 nights at the Hotel Milu. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay. We stayed in Room 503 which is one of the deluxe rooms with a balcony. The combination of classic wood beams with modern furniture is a nice combination. The hotel is impeccably clean.
The location of the hotel is perfect, on a relatively quiet high end street near a palazzo and a very short walk to the Arno River.
A few critique items I would like to mention so future travelers have a full picture. The rooms are small. The hotel does not hide this, listing the sq meters on the website but be aware things are tight. There is closet space for hang-ups and shelves, but if we had not had a balcony, I am unsure where we would have put our suitcases. Yes we left them on the balcony and yes we got lucky it did not rain. The balcony is peaceful and a great place to relax but do not think you have a real view as you do not. The bathroom is functional but the shower is a rain shower or a handheld, which would be fine if the shower were large enough to accommodate a rain shower. Rain showers look cool but for me personally are not very functional. Just not our cup of tea. The website for some reason lists the first item for hotel amenities stating adjustable heating and cooling. Unsure why this is the #1 item when this control is extremely limited. Our thermostat would only adjust between 19-20 Celsius which is 66.2-68 Fahrenheit, so while technically you can “adjust” this adjustment was minimal. We were not told by anyone if further adjustments could be made and we did not ask as the website says the rooms have adjustable temperature. If I have to go complain about something then this would automatically warrant a less than 5 star rating so, regardless of whether it was resolved.

We stopped in Florence during our Honeymoon, and Hotel Milu was our favorite hotel of the entire trip. The staff restocked the fridge with complimentary drinks every single day. Bed was comfy, bathroom was nice, and they had as many channels as one can hope for when traveling to Europe from the states! Highly recommend this place!
