Courtyard Mishawaka-University Area

The location was close to the St Joseph’s hospital,restaurants and shopping. The staff was great! We were greeted at the front desk pleasantly and with smiles. (Julie) When we needed to change to a handicapped room, Julie immediately not only found us another room but showed us the room to make sure it was okay. The hotel was quiet at night. The room was clean and comfortable.

The property is clean and offers nice amenities, such as the Bistro and bar. The staff was first class.

Was greeted very promptly upon our check in day. The room was very spacious and accommodated us nicely. The area around has a lot of dining options and isn't far from Elkhart or South Bend. Very quiet at night that allowed good rest. Would stay here again.

The woman who checked us in around midnight was great! She deserves recognition. She really did a good job and made us feel welcomed.

The staff was excellent but this property is past its prime. Building looks old, parking lot needs resurfaced. Rooms need updating.

We booked an accessible roll in shower room with a king and double size sofa bed. When we got to our room it was not accessible. The staff was friendly and resolved that and got us into another room. The new room had a bad smell to it. Almost musty/dirty. We bought air freshener to try to help since our stay was only one night and also opened the patio door to let fresh air in. The sofa bed most definitely is not a double size and it had no blankets or pillows in the room for it. It was a pull out that only a small adult:child could sleep on. When we called about it we had to go down and pick up the blankets instead of someone bringing them. We also had to go back down for the new room keys. There also was no door inside the room to separate the two rooms off. We could hear people walking above us through the night. When we went to the bar area and the kitchen that showed it offered shareable snacks had already closed unfortunately and it was 9:30. I do want to say the staff was friendly just the stay itself was very disappointing especially for the price we paid. Unfortunately I don’t think we would stay at another Courtyard.

Traveled here with a group of 24 for a competition. We were all on the same floor along with other groups for the same competition. Three adults were discussing grocery plans in the hallway and a rude guest came into the hallway and yelled to go back to our rooms (it was 6pm) and later she yelled at a 4 year old kid to stay away from her dog when he and his mom were walking from one room to another to get ready for bed. The hotel staff was not helpful. They came up and offered to move the grumpy guest but she refused and instead we were told by the staff that if we wanted to discuss plans we had to do it in the courtyards and not in the hallway or anyone’s room. If it wasn’t for this situation, we would have let the awful conditions of the hotel slide, but this is a 1/5 hotel. Plenty of others to choose from in the area. Listen to the other reviews on here.

Very conveniently located
Bathroom needs some work

No soap. Jumped in shower to realize bottle was empty. Used shampoo, not a big deal if prives hadn’t been so high due to graduation weekend.
