Pros:

very comfy bed, super helpful desk staff -- i was unhappy with my initial room assignment, so i said something to the front desk staff and they moved me without hesitation to a much nicer room.

Cons:

the hotel just needs a renovation. overall, i enjoyed my stay, but i wasn't in my room that much...

Great location but very expensive
Pros:

Friendly, helpful staff.
Great sized room. Excellent location.

Cons:

The only hotel in our global 4 month trip (45 hotels) where we didn’t have a kettle / coffee machine in our room.
The hotel is quite dated and in need of an upgrade - particularly given how expensive it is.
Construction noise nearby is very loud. Had to request a room move. Windows are thin and let a lot of noise in.

Pros:

The service was exceptional. They let us check in early and upgraded our room to a suite. The location was perfect, especially if you are new to NYC and have never visited and want to see the true touristy things. We only stayed for one night and loved the art deco vibe. The property is definitely old, but our room was clean and it kind of felt like we were transported back to the 70’s so we had fun with it.
