It was a nice location, friendly staff, fairly quiet and decent size room.

We had such a wonderful stay!! Kat and Robin took exceptional care of us. The rooms are quite specious and very clean! We love the location since it’s by some great restaurants and over all it’s a very safe location. We will continue to stay here every time we come!!

I recently stayed two nights at the Hilton Garden Inn Marina del Rey when I was attending a work function nearby. This is a solid, comfortable hotel with a lot going for it.

The first thing that stood out was how friendly the staff was. Everyone I interacted with, especially at the front desk, was genuinely nice and welcoming. That's something that always makes a hotel feel better right away.

The rooms are spacious and clearly renovated, with a clean and modern feel. One of the best perks was the small balcony overlooking the marina. It's not huge, but it's a great spot to step outside, get some fresh air, and enjoy the view of the boats. There is noticeable traffic noise all day and night however, so light sleepers might want to keep that in mind.

Parking is convenient with a nice underground garage, which is a plus in this area. The clearance is very low! Even smaller SUVs and taller vehicles like trucks won't fit, so that's something to plan for ahead of time. Make sure your car isn't too tall, because the underground garage is the only place you can park if you're a guest at the hotel.

The room felt very clean, but I was a little shocked to arrive and find ants crawling all over the bathroom. I finally found the hole in the wall near the shower where they were crawling out of, and I was able to plug it shut with a wet tissue. It's a gross and temporary solution, but it at least stopped the ants. I hope the hotel will address this and hire an exterminator. I was on the third floor, so it would probably be worse on a lower level.

The hotel has a restaurant and a small food and sundries pantry adjacent to the lobby, which sells drinks and snacks that are easy to heat up in your in-room microwave. I also appreciated the coffee maker and mini fridge in the room too, which made my stay all the more comfortable. Since I was attending a formal event, I also liked the bright lighting in the room as well as the full-length mirror so I could check my cocktail dress before leaving. The room was very well appointed and had everything I could possibly need during my stay.

I also used the small business center to print a few documents. It was free to use the printer and business center, which was also very nice!

Location-wise, the hotel is a total win. You're close to tons of restaurants, shops, gas stations, a Costco, and loads of things to do around the marina, making it easy to explore without driving far. You can access a lot of things on foot or bike / scooter too!

Despite a few minor issues, this Hilton Garden Inn is a pleasant place to stay with friendly service, roomy updated rooms, and a great Marina del Rey location. Just get rid of those ants, please.

We had a very nice stay here. Rooms are clean and hotel is located in a very convenient spot right across from the Marina. Short walk to Venice Beach and the Historic Canal area as well. The people working the front desk are outstanding, Fernanda, Kat and Brian were very hospitable and attentive.

Terrific hotel. Great location within walking distance to Venice Beach and town. The staff is attentive and friendly from the front desk through the cleaningstaff.… And reasonably priced. I highly recommend.

The location of the hotel was great. It was close to restaurants, the beach and marina. The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. It would have been even better if the weather was warmer and the pool was open.

I made reservations for my Son and his girlfriend as he wanted to surprise her for Valentine’s weekend. The chances of getting a room at the coast on Valentines weekend was slim. But there was availability at the Hilton Garden Inn/Marina Del Rey. I contacted the hotel direct and was contacted by Courtney who was the most pleasant, helpful person I’ve had the pleasure of speaking with in a very long time. She helped me get my Son a beautiful room upgrade and made sure everything was perfect for them upon arrival. They drove from Nevada so having everything perfect when they got there was so appreciated. I just can’t thank everyone enough for making this such a memorable weekend for my kids. Also I will add, when I was working for Kaiser years ago, this hotel was home for me and my team for weeks. Another amazing experience! Thank you to all!

Since our last stay was a return stay, I felt I should write a review! Our return stay was based on the relaxing, friendly and attentive first stay. After driving a little ove 2 1/2 hours to visit our college grandson, it was great having attentive, knowledgeble and very pleasant Hilton Garden Inn staff assisting us. They helped us in various ways -- room selection options, ideas regarding places for dinner -- based on our interests and suggestions about driving options. We felt special and then noticed this quality of service was a stardard -- the couple who checked in shortly after we were checking in, also complemented the front desk staff for the assistance they recieved.

I enjoy my day in the Hilton Garden Inn Marina Del Rey. Surrounded by great restaurants and excellent view of water yachts, and sand.
