Cons:

I was a solo female traveler and I asked not
to be on the first floor and I was on the first floor with a sliding door out to the parking lot, very scary!

It wasn’t bad overall
Pros:

It was clean. Staff were nice. The fire pit area was nice and relaxing.

Cons:

The pool was closed but we were told it was open. The beds were very uncomfortable.

Was shocked at my overall poor experience especially for a Marriot.

False advertising: Pool and hot tub under construction. Pull out sofa bed ABSOLUTELY terrible and so uncomfortable. Extremely cheap furniture. New staff were lacking information. Had to call multiple times to front desk as the room had NO linens for the sofa bed.

New 30 day non-refundable policy. Stay Away.
Pros:

AVOID if possible. New management has a new 30 day non-refundable policy. If you cancel less than that you are billed your entire stay.

I had stayed here many times over the years for work and enjoyed the location. The hotel was getting up in years. New management came in and are redoing the hotel, BUT the 30 day no changes policy basically makes all rooms now non-refundable. I will no longer stay here. There are many new hotels in the area that do not have a bad policy like this.

Someone barely knocked and walked into the room before we answered FOUR times. The front desk said it was our fault that we didn’t have a do not disturb sign on the door. We stay in hotels often and this never happens. Staff was rude

Cons:

Renovations are on going to make it upgraded, but you had to walk through the work are to get to the elevator.

Great staff, but wait until renovoations are complete.

The staff was great and so were the workers who were renovating the building

Cons:

I just believe that if your hotel is going under a major renovation, where multiple floors are closed and the guests are coming into contact with construction workers then your prices should be better. I knew there was construction, but I did not think it was a major renovation.

Pros:

I was very disappointed, my sister booked the hotel for us. She was not informed that the hotel was under construction. Pool was not available, no ice machines were working. no phones,also the room she booked was not given to us and when she brought it to their attention , she was told they were booked up. No access to a elevater in the lobby, we had to leave the building , go around to the back parking lot to access it from out side. The staff was great. We love this brand, one of our favorite hotels. But wish we could have had a better experience.
