Great location but not going back due to lack of quiet between rooms.
Pros:

The location, staff , communication & pet fee

Cons:

The walls are very thin
The family beside us kept us awake
The staff did call them but we could even hear the phone ring in the room
next door as if it was in our room.

A great weekend getaway with free parking
Pros:

The ladies at the desk we super friendly. Always welcoming and happy. The room with a view was amazing. The little extra treats for our anniversary were the icing on the cake.

Cons:

It's an older hotel. It has its quirks. Unfortunately, during our stay, the elevator didnt work. Thats ok! Stair exercise is good for you.
The room was a little small. Thats ok! You're there to sleep. Get outside and enjoy the city.
We were warned about construction in the Harbour. Thats ok! It’s not overnight.
It took a little while for the hot water to kick in. Thats ok! Just run the water a little longer and it showed up.

So really, there wasn't anything I didn't like that I could look past.

Downtown stay
Pros:

The staff were amazing and accomodating , really liked that their was a restraunt on the premises, and it was close to everything

Cons:

Noise from upstairs, chairs moving on floor, and the elevator was out.

we always enjoy this hotel, but the electrical outage made this trip unpleasant.
Pros:

Because the power was going to be out from around 8:30 till 10 o’clock, we did not have breakfast. We left around 5 AM and drove home.

Cons:

The receipt that we got from the hotel was less than we were charged on my cardby booking.com. We were not happy about this! We have not called to ask about it, but will be but will not work with “booking” again if possible.

Short sweet and comfortable....
Pros:

Awesome location...Does not get any better.
The staff were fantastic...They went above and more to make our stay great...
For the price can't be beat..
It was a special occasion.
The hotel gave us a complimentary bottle of wine and flowers as well as some fine chocolates...
Highly recommended

Nice staff but awful room
Cons:

There was construction going on an could hear it all night the room was freezing the heat didn't work the bed were soo uncomfortable I would have had a better sleep on the floor the pool was closed so didn't get to use it the internet keep cutting out the elevator felt like it was going to break when it stop

Above our expectations
Pros:

We were there just 1 (rainy) night in December. Great location (James Bay is an area we prefer) & especially a good price for this area in our opinion.
Happy with polite & professional front desk service, the room was clean (& we like non-carpeted rooms), bed was fine, so although not everyone’s conclusion according to the varied reviews, this is our personal experience having stayed at a variety of different quality hotels & motels.
A bonus is free parking (although I am sure it could get limited in busy times) which is at the rear off Quebec St. Also an umbrella in the room, which we did use that night!

A great location, hotel itself is OK.
Pros:

The location of this hotel doesn't get any better. Groceries, food, shopping, walking is all around. The hotel itself is fine but that's it.
As a Wyndham Rewards member I have stayed at many locations and expected more out of this one.
