An adequate secondary location to stay (with kids and elderly) with very kind staff.
Pros:

The location is fantastic.

Cons:

Parking is very tight for a truck, kitchenette was poorly outfitted so use of the kitchen required me buying and bringing equipment. Bathroom was VERY small. Much of this was the issue with being in an old building. Elevator was non-functional. Poor ventilation in rooms, and exhaust fan moves little air in the bathroom, and some rooms didn’t have one.

It wasn’t the best but not also the worst. But big factor was the Elevator and AC

The location it is very accessible, and it was in Downtown and free parking

Cons:

Elevator is not working, some of the stuff are ok but most of them can’t even greet the customer. The facility has no AC

Very convenient place to sleep with a lovely nighttime view
Pros:

Superb location for many things for tourists to see within walking distance.

Excellent and helpful staff.

Readily available free coffee/tea bar in the lobby was very helpful for us staying several nights, and wanting to grab and go for more sightseeing.

Pet friendly was very helpful for us.

Cons:

We got short notice about elevators being out of service during our stay, and about the harbor noise from construction, so if we'd needed/wanted to cancel and rebook somewhere else it would have been difficult getting suitable alternate accommodations. Thankfully, neither issue was a deal breaker for us.

Coffee was absent only one morning for awhile. Just unlucky timing I guess!

Weekend in Victoria
Pros:

Staff, location, room, bed, corner habour facing king room.

Cons:

Did not include breakfast but restaurant on-site, but needed earlier breakfast than 8am. Elevator was being repaired so had to use stairs, not a major issue as I was on 3rd floor.

Great location but not going back due to lack of quiet between rooms.
Pros:

The location, staff , communication & pet fee

Cons:

The walls are very thin
The family beside us kept us awake
The staff did call them but we could even hear the phone ring in the room
next door as if it was in our room.

A great weekend getaway with free parking
Pros:

The ladies at the desk we super friendly. Always welcoming and happy. The room with a view was amazing. The little extra treats for our anniversary were the icing on the cake.

Cons:

It's an older hotel. It has its quirks. Unfortunately, during our stay, the elevator didnt work. Thats ok! Stair exercise is good for you.
The room was a little small. Thats ok! You're there to sleep. Get outside and enjoy the city.
We were warned about construction in the Harbour. Thats ok! It’s not overnight.
It took a little while for the hot water to kick in. Thats ok! Just run the water a little longer and it showed up.

So really, there wasn't anything I didn't like that I could look past.

Downtown stay
Pros:

The staff were amazing and accomodating , really liked that their was a restraunt on the premises, and it was close to everything

we always enjoy this hotel, but the electrical outage made this trip unpleasant.
Pros:

Because the power was going to be out from around 8:30 till 10 o’clock, we did not have breakfast. We left around 5 AM and drove home.

Cons:

The receipt that we got from the hotel was less than we were charged on my cardby booking.com. We were not happy about this! We have not called to ask about it, but will be but will not work with “booking” again if possible.
