Free wifi, clean and comfortable room. Good thing the hotel provides coffee because the restaurant isn't open for early travellers!
A loud free-standing fan instead of a/c, very tiny bathroom with a bathtub that was stained. There was no accessibility room - could barely get in through the small door and up off the toilet - definitely would have gone somewhere else if I'd known. Elevator is very small (not wheelchair accessible). Main lobby accessible bathroom was big enough for a wheelchair but no grab bars and you had to fight the doors because of it's placement. It's not the worst hotel. I spoke with the front desk and they explained it's because the building is so old and they can't change the structure. You may not be able to fix it all, but you need to do better or at least be upfront that it's not accessible. Food at the restaurant was only OK and overpriced for the quality/quantity.
Excellent location, great restaurant, had breakfast and dinner, both were very good, very welcoming staff
We specifically asked for a ground floor room, it was quite small, so was the bathroom. Maybe the rooms are bigger, we haven’t changed
Very nice staff/ pet friendly- great location
Everything
Excellent location right in the harbour
The staff were all lovely and very helpful
Pool liked nice but we were too busy to use it during our short stay
Gods breakfast
Overall it was just a little tired
Good
Great location, we had views of the harbor. Comfortable room, friendly staff, onsite restaurant
The bathroom was a bit cramped
Location is great and value for money.
Very noisy inside from elevator and neighbours, walls with adjoining doors are really bad.
We liked the location, the view, and the beds were comfortable
The rooms were very hot. We knew ahead of time there was no air-conditioning, but it was impossible to get any air floral through the room, even with the window open. The only time it was bearable, was opening the door to the hallway and propping it so it would pull the air through the window. Of course we couldn’t do that overnight and our sleep was too warm.
Another minor issue, but for a coffee drinker like myself, it was important. I got my coffee from the lobby as I had not brought my own milk like I usually do. But in the lobby, all they had for coffee was individual containers of Coffee-mate, which is quite an awful product and in this day and age, no coffee drinker likes to put that in their drink. I was quite shocked to find that in a hotel in downtown Victoria.
Great harbor location. Free parking
The room was very small. There was a step up to a VERY SMALL bathroom that was unsafe for my wife who has Parkinsons. Also the large pillows gave me a tweaked neck.
L’emplacement malgré la construction. Nous sommes conscients que cela est temporaire.
Chambre très petite
It was surprisingly quiet, given it was right across from the ferry and on a busy street. The location was great for us, since we came in on the ferry with no car.
Be aware there is no AC. It wasn't an issue when we were there. But it could be in the summer. There was a room fan though
