Not happy with experience
Pros:

We stay at this hotel a lot because of its decent breakfast good rooms and "usually" good service. But this all changed yesterday. We went to check in and as normal I booked the hotel under my fiancee's name and sent him in with my card which we've never had an issue with in the past. We've stayed at so many hotels and stayed at this particular hotel so many times that he is a gold member almost a platinum member. But this time in particular the lady at the front desk refused to let him use my card to check in basically accusing him of stealing my card and said I had to be present and "Coherent" basically accusing me of either being drunk or a drug addict which I find very insulting considering I have never done drugs in my life and only have the occasional drink. After that she said that our card didn't go through before she tried it again and went through only to find out that she had tried to charge us $204 dollars when our room was $113 with the holding fee. When I went to talk to her in a nice manner as we were checking out and let her know I did not appreciate what she said a large black man came out screaming calling me a liar and said why would you have stayed if this happened trying to intimidate me the answer is this we already had the room booked why go through the hassle of getting another room but from now on we will take our business elsewhere after that and would not recommend anyone to stay here. I'm very disappointed with the way we were treated and I'm still in shock

Just ok.....
Pros:

Just ok. Room was clean but outside hotel is littered with a lot of trash. The bed was comfortable but there was a brown cinnamon like substance that was lined on the inside of our room window which I have never seen before. Front desk gentleman was not rude but he was not very friendly either. The breakfast bar looked very good, but we did not eat there because we had breakfast plans elsewhere with a family member. Overall...just ok. I don't know if I would stay there again or not.

While, only there to sleep we enjoyed our rest.
Pros:

Very quit atmosphere.

Overall, this hotel was worth the stay and the facilities and amenities were top notich.
Pros:

Bedroom was very clean and supported my familiy's needs. The breakfast was very good with fresh fruit and other staples.

Cons:

Starting in the early evening, the lounge area was mobbed with adults throwing a party, and the pool area was crammed with children displaying unseafe behaviors - no lifeguard on duty, no adult supervision.

Person who checked us in was super rude. My room was paid for already and took my card to put on file. However, he charged my card 40.00 for no reason before we even stepped in the room
