Construction of the lobby and pool area being closed wasn't communicated during the reservation process.

I felt that the signs showing where to enter the lobby could have been more thought out and clear. From where you enter the property you don't see the construction and signs seam to direct you around the building instead of the temporary entrance. Color of the sign over temporary entrance makes it difficult to read.

The pool being closed was some what a disappointment after a long drive. Thinking a nice soak in the hot tub would feel great before bed. I don't think I would have changed my choice on staying but it would've been nice to know that amenity wouldn't be available beforehand.

Also think the prices should reflect the inconveniences of not having these amenities.

Lobby area and rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff was nice and responsive.

Overpriced for limited amenities.
Pros:

Room was nice and clean. New carpet and the bed was very comfortable.

Cons:

It is being remodeled and the entrance was closed. It was difficult to drag luggage in a small entrance and no staff to help. Limited food available.

Used to be a great place to stay, but there are too many problems to return.
Cons:

The hotel is going through a renovation and the contractor has definitely cut corners. I had to be moved twice because:
room 1. The toilet handle broke on the first flush.
room 2. There was no power to the HVAC.
room 3. The shower head had not been attached properly and the water poured out the back with only a small amount coming through the head for the shower. The water came out of the faucet on the sink in a trickle. I didn’t ask to be moved again because it was not convenient for me to do it a 3rd time.
