Edgewater Beach Hotel

Where do I begin..we choose the Edgewater resort as we were looking for a quiet beach front location…thankfully we were not disappointed.
We arrived later in the evening and were welcomed by the front desk.
Our suite is a King Ocean view with balcony. Our spacious kitchen has a microwave, a hot plate, an island as well as a dining table with seating for four.
The bathroom is spacious and has a safe and a closet as well.
The bed is comfortable, and the pillows are lovely. There is a large dresser and 2 night stands..lots of storage!
Our deck looks out to the ocean and two swimming pools.Very comfortable patio furniture as well.
The beach is only steps away …so beautiful and clean .The staff on the beach are very accommodating and also bring drinks and food to you.
We enjoyed our dinners at the Coast restaurant, and the portions were generous. I have to give mention to the beautiful floral arrangements..stunning!
All staff we encountered here have been wonderful but a special shout out to the maid service as they do an incredible job and are always so friendly as well as to the shuttle drivers.
Don’t be afraid to book this resort you will not be disappointed..we are already booked for the fall & spring🏖️🌞

It’s close to everything in the shuttle service is fantastic.

Basic essentials were lacking, like water temperature, housekeeping service and appliance access. Bar service was also disappointing. The beach and pool setup were the only bright spots.

Book a Naples view room on the sixth floor. It truly is quiet and relaxing. Plenty of opportunities to see the sunset and gulf views from the pool. The service is excellent. Every person I encountered was friendly and welcoming. The text messaging is extremely responsive from the hotel. Dinner at Coast was great too.

This is an amazing hotel. The suites are large with full kitchen and large living space. The hotel food is great. The service is incredible. Plenty of towels at the pool and beach. Attentive staff. Free shuttle into town. Cookie buffet at 2. Nice beach and beachside service. Lounges included in the resort fee. Great all around experience. Will come back for sure!

The hotel is not what we expected. The rooms are very dark and a bit outdated. Our only main window in the den literally faces another person’s room and their balcony so we can’t even use that window making it more dark. Like their balcony and our window are inches apart. The rooms are not like what is in the website. And ocean view if you strain. Just be careful about making assumptions based on the website.

We loved staying at the Edgewater, being able to sit at the pool and bar and also see the beach is AMAZING! Jeremy the bellman was very accommodating, very friendly, a great person to have at the entrance of your hotel! Also Corey, Greg, and Mark (three amigos) at the pool bar are excellent bartenders, VERY outgoing, known them for a while and happy to have met them! Would definitely recommend coming to Edgewater!!!

Prospective clients considering this resort for a destination wedding should exercise caution. What was a highly anticipated beach wedding, followed by a dinner on the beach and dancing on the pool deck, unfortunately devolved into a disorganized event. Throughout the planning process, there were persistent issues, as a result of the lack of professionalism and expertise. Additionally, there were numerous unexpected charges; for example, although outdoor dining was part of the package, an extra (and large) fee was attempted for lighting. Communication was poor, with significant uncertainty and unanswered questions persisting even weeks before the wedding. The dinner service was notably delayed, with long intervals between courses, leaving only an hour for the reception and dancing on the pool deck. There were key factors that were left out; for instance the day of the wedding the bride was informed the sound system for the ceremony was not allowed on the beach. One would think this would be something you would tell the bride beforehand. Furthermore, noise levels were strictly monitored with a decibel meter. During the grand entrance a manager with a decibel meter instructed the DJ to turn down the volume. The wedding party was then unable to hear when they were to make their entrance. On a positive note the main course of filet was quite good and the everyone made the best of it and the bride and groom were glowing. But for prospective brides buyer beware.

We had my daughters wedding here and although there were a few small issues, Nicole, the wedding coorindinator was outstanding. She handled everything with the utmost professionalism and grace. She was amazing and went out of her way to make sure that day went smoothly. My daughter and her husband were thrilled. And the food, was Absolutely incredible.

Our stay at the Edgewater was made all the more special because of the fabulous Jeremy, the valet/doorman who greeted us every day with a smile and was always attentive to our every need. He is a skilled and consummate professional and the hotel is fortunate to have him on their team!

Edgewater is our home away from home! We have been coming here for years and the property and staff are always amazing. Jeremy , with valet, is one of the first faces you see and he has grown to be a lifelong friend that we hope is working every time he we visit. He goes above and beyond every single time to make sure our stay is top notch.

Room, food service, helpful staff.

Five stars all around. The Edgewater Beach Hotel is a beautiful property with wonderful appointments and an unbeatable beachfront setting. What truly sets it apart is the staff — incredibly helpful, down to earth, and genuinely warm. The front desk team was outstanding, especially Taylor, Roshene, Alexis and Timera. I’m sure I didn’t catch everyone’s name, but these three ladies were absolutely wonderful and went out of their way to make our stay seamless. They were flexible, accommodating, and made everything easy for us. Our room was beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed. I honestly cannot say enough good things about everyone there. We can’t wait to return.
