Pros:

The bed was very comfortable. The AC worked well and it was quiet. The sidewalk on the north side of the building had some loose pieces of aluminum that could be a trip hazard.

It’s your basic hotel. If you’re wanting a pool, well you’re out of luck. It’s a great place if you want to sleep and not have amenities. It’s affordable too. The breakfast was good, and the area was clean. I would recommend this place for your stay.

Great place to stay
Pros:

We had a lovely stay in Galesburg. Our room was large and comfortable. The breakfasts were good.
We traveled with our dog and were conveniently able to have a first-floor room. There is a beautiful dog park an easy walk from the hotel.

Nicest people, not the newest property

Staff/owners were super nice and responsive! It’s an older property but seemed to be cleaned and maintained. The beds are old enough to be the ones you can actually see under, and the carpet is probably as old. It’s fine for a night en route to another destination.

Note to my fellow ND friends: the cleaner or air freshener had a strong enough scent to require changing the pillow case on the pillow I took in with me because that scent was still on it when I got home. If sensitive to scents, be prepared that it’s strong.
