Disclosure: I rated 4 stars because I never actually visited the property.
I prepaid our reservation to secure a lower non-refundable rate via the corporate booking platform. Two months later we had to cancel due to a death in my friends employment family. I called to request a refund & was told that the owner would have to call me back because she was not authorized to issue a refund. A few hours later the owner called me, as promised. Let me tell you that when you book ANY travel-related reservations via a corporate or third-party platform you have almost 0% chance of getting refund. The owner of this hotel, not the booking platform, was empathic to the situation and graciously issued a full refund to me. If you are not familiar with the travel industry, let me assure you that this is highly unusual.
The owners empathic gesture is most certainly appreciated. Thank you sir.
The parking was good well light! The staff was great
Easy Parking and staff was friendly!
Very Kind staff with great recommendations. A Clean comfortable room. Easy access to restaurant and gas and shopping.
We enjoyed our stay . Room was clean , bed was very comfortable. Staff was very nice and respectful. We had forgotten a couple of toiletries (tooth brush and razor) in which was made available to us. The only thing that could have made it better would be a hot breakfast instead of out of a bag, had visited a couple time in the past while being remolded
Very nice property and convenient to Highway
We arrived on Sunday overnight. The staff was great!!
The staff was very polite mannerisms respectfully
.
Old and out dated. No t very clean.
Was not the best Comfort Inns I have ever been to.Hope I don’t get sick cereal was stale. There was no covering around the bottom of the bed so you could see the mold on the bed box.
My family and I stayed here while in town from New Jersey for a funeral. I wasn’t expecting luxury, just a basic, clean place to rest.
We booked three rooms, fairly clean, outdated and all with some kind of damage or issue (scraped up doors with multiple drill holes, rust in the closets, stickers in the tub from purchase etc.). The pool was closed due to renovations and while they did offer breakfast, it was just cereal and a few grab-and-go items. The cable was minimal at best. I could have surpassed all these things if not for the issue with my billing.
Random charges totaling $250 on top of the $300+ booking and $150 hold for incidentals. When I asked about it, the manager gave a dismissive explanation—claiming it was my bank, then saying he’d "return the funds". My bank confirmed the charges came from the hotel.
It was a stressful experience during an already difficult time. All that to say I wouldn’t recommend this location— hopefully there will be a complete renovation to the space aswell as customer service from management
They are doing a remodel and not stated online. No breakfast as listed, pool not open. No choice of decaf coffeee in lobby, coffee pot in room not working, smoke detector not in room, and the secure lock on door broken.
Simply average; room for improvement. Pool was not operational though the temperature was 108 degrees on Monday and Tuesday.
staff was disinterested in us ,the customers..... beds ok, but breakfast was D-.......wpould not have known that we we were supposed to get a bagged selection...as it was we had 53 days old bread, etc.... ( front desk should have explained the bagged lunch )
Holes in walls, never stated on internet they were remodeling, no pool to use and breakfast was a bagged breakfast totally not expecting the amenities not to be available while traveling with family
I chose this hotel based on the fact that their website said a standard double room (2 full size beds) could accommodate 5 people with a rollaway bed. Upon check-in I was told that a rollaway bed could not be put in that room as it is a fire hazard. We only have 4 people but our children are teen and early 20s and so don’t want to share a bed. So the company website is in error and needs to be changed.
The room itself…
Seemed clean, there were light bulbs out in the fixtures by the bed. The lamp near the tv and the coffee pot over there are not plugged in. The outlet was behind the tv stand in an area we couldn’t get to so that rendered the lamp useless. The coffee pot we had to move over to the night stand to be able to use. We awoke this morning to a bathroom floor full of water. We had to use all our towels to mop up the water up and sent our teen son down to ask for more towels. At first he was told he needed to bring the towels down to trade out. Once he explained they were full of toilet water he was given fresh towels. The fresh towels he returned with were dirty. (See pic) Besides the water leak, the bathroom was clean but there was no plug for the bathtub.
So this wasn’t the worst stay but definitely not worth $170.
The front staff we encountered at check-in and out were very pleasant, we appreciated that.
They’re updating the outside. They need to update the inside.
Gentleman that checked us in was very rude..
When we called to book, I asked questions because of reviews I read-we were told construction was done and that their price included a continental breakfast. When we arrived construction was very much going on, front entrance blocked, workers had music blaring, and the breakfast was a bag breakfast we had to pick up from the front desk. When I asked the desk person about what we were told, the response I received was “well I was the one working when you called and I did not say that”. To add-the person I spoke with was a male and the person who checked me in was a female….
