I stayed at the Lotus Hotel in Isla Mujeres and truly loved my experience. The hotel is absolutely beautiful — the style and design are stunning and feel very intentional, with a chic, island-luxury vibe that immediately sets the tone for a special stay. It felt like the kind of place that makes your vacation feel elevated the moment you arrive.
The location was ideal and made the trip effortless. Everything was within walking distance, and having access to nearby beach clubs was such a highlight. Spending the day by the ocean and then coming back to such a stylish, well-designed and CLEAN space made the whole experience feel seamless and indulgent.
The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, always welcoming and happy to help with recommendations or anything we needed. Their hospitality added so much to the overall experience and made the stay feel thoughtful and personal.
Lotus Hotel was the perfect blend of beauty, location, and island luxury. It truly enhanced our trip to Isla Mujeres, and I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, elevated place to stay on the island.

Absolutely gorgeous view, beautiful room and lovely staff. I’m not sure the location can be beat. You’re steps away from the most beautiful, serene water that is perfect for swimming. The location of the beach at the hotel protects it from the rougher waves, creating a peaceful lagoon that is safe and gorgeous to swim in. The staff was incredibly attentive and helpful. We will definitely be back.

The location and access to neighbouring beach clubs

Lotus Beach Hotel har nydelig beliggenhet tett på sjøen og ved en flott del av Playa Norte. Hotellet har få rom, og man bruker fasilitetene til Guru Beach Club. Stilig uteområde. Bassenget er lite, men utsikten fabelaktig, mot strand og hav. Gode solsenger ved bassenget. God service fra de i baren på Beach Club, og gode drinker. Utmerket service også fra de i resepsjonen. Frokosten ble inntatt på nabohotellets Beach Club - Oceanus. Ser frokosten har fått mye kritikk, men vi syntes servitørene var hyggelige og det gikk forholdsvis fort, selv om valgmulighetene ikke var store. Men et fat med frukt, kaffe og juice, toast med smør og syltetøy, og et valg om egg med tilbehør var helt ok, og en grei måte å starte dagen på. Fine rom med mange flotte detaljer. God rengjøring.

Best location on Isla Mujeres given its position at best part of playa Norte. Only thing better then location is the outstanding staff.

Breakfast was included, we didn’t eat there after for the first day it was really poor.

The room was superb along with an outstanding staff that made my wife’s surprise birthday to Cancún wonderful.

I chose the best place to stay for vacations, the staff is professional, for sure I'll come back to this place

As a return visitor, I absolutely love this spot. However there has been a change in management that I am very concerned will affect the experience at this hotel. We love all the staff at this hotel they are incredible. However they have outsourced their breakfast to the hotel next to called Oceanvs- and we had not won but two poor experiences in that restaurant where the same surveyor ripped us off multiple times. There was one server that was incredible but it really affected our overall experience with the Hotel making me question if I would book it again.

DO NOT STAY HERE if you’re looking for any kind of decent treatment and room. Bugs in the room, you’ll be told to throw your used toilet paper in the trash can, no decent internet and no TV option through hotel. It’s in a sketchy area at the far, cheap end of the island and security is lax. Our “ocean view” room was a joke barely could see the water. Just an old bridge and trees right in front. 😕
Everything closes at the hotel at 6pm and the included breakfast is a block away at another hotel. The plunge pool on the patio is a like warm bathroom filled with old water and leaves/dirt. They advertise shuttle service from the airport. Also false. You’ll pay and arrange it and the ferry yourself. Adults only? They served small kids food and drinks on the beach from the hotel. The beach area is totally public and includes 5 hard chairs. We reserved for 5 days and left after 2 to go to a REAL hotel that doesn’t falsely advertise and is clean.
