Pros:

This property was lovely and we especially enjoyed taking the canoes through the waterway for 7 minutes to the beach. The spa was wonderful and the restaurant on the property is excellent. Fabulous breakfast buffet, and they will make eggs for you. Two nights was not enough here!

Great boutique hotel with very welcoming staff
Pros:

We had a great stay at Flamingo. The staff were all very friendly. Sharun was amazing and suggested beaches for us to visit and helped in booking a shikara and even called around to get us a better price.
The area is really good, you can canoe from the end of the garden to the beach (which is a very quiet white sandy beach). We also took their bicycles out to explore the area.
The hotel has 11 rooms and is a conversion of a large home, it has a very homely feel still. The food in the restaurant was good and staff there were very friendly and accommodating.

Pros:

This hotel is a gem. The rooms are clean, well appointed and spacious with fabulous furnishings. We ate at the restaurant which offered a range of delicious dishes and spent time around the pool. The staff are a delight, always smiling and eager to cater for every guest.
The only comment i would make is that there is not much in the area, but if you're looking for a deserted beach or if you have transport, then this really isn't a problem.

Pros:

A peaceful ‘heritage’ property adjacent to a small river/inlet. Our ‘pool view’ room was part of the original house, large, and comfortable, with a huge ‘wet room’ that had the feel of showering outside. Very helpful staff. Meal service on the slow side, but tasty food. Only 5 minutes stroll through woodland to local deserted beach. Would definitely recommend if in the Alleppey area.
