The front desk ladies were rude, made no attempt to be accommodating. The room was extremely warm, even with the thermostat at 65.
Great crew, awesome restaurant.. bar was great too
Warm showers
Food was good, service was bad.
Nothing
Poor service
Room was very nice
Had to wait over 5 hours to check in, check in was 3pm, we got into our room at 8pm
Check in time is 4 pm. We arrived shortly before, to a crowded lobby filled with guests waiting for their rooms to be ready. We were told we’d get a phone call when our room was available. We sat down in the lobby and waited and waited. Finally, at 4:45 I approached the desk and asked when our room was going to be ready and was told that they had called us a half hour before. Nope. No phone call was received a
Note that there is a $17 resort fee. Also note, that if they don’t tell you, you can use that amount to buy drinks and snacks in their little market on the day that you check in. You can’t do it check out day. We learned about this from another guest who had been told. We weren’t informed.
Room review: it’s a small room, but for one night it works. The bathroom has minimal counter space and is not big enough to hold toiletries for two people . Speaking of toiletries, don’t expect anything more than a bar of soap and a bottle of lotion.
A/C: if you like a freezing cold room, this is the place for you. It was so cold we had to turn our A/C off when we initially walked into the room. We left it off the entire
night.
The hotel does allow you to store your luggage in the lobby if your room isn’t ready and you want to explore We found that to be very helpful the following morning.
There are many restaurants within walking distance, as well as a supermarket and pharmacy.
I understand you get what you pay for. Hotel was basically what we were looking for: a quiet place where we could spend one night after a long flight. Rooms were small and not updated but that didn't matter to us. However, it was a bad sign at 7pm check-in when several people were waiting in the lobby with no rooms available yet!
We finally got a room at 8:30pm. After a full day of travel with a kid, tired and hungry, we were desperate for our room to be ready. We are also Marriott Bonvoy Platinum members and this is pretty unacceptable. We tried contacting Marriott to give them feedback but they basically just said sorry it happened and didn't offer us any kind of points compensation or anything.
If you are looking for a cheaper place with a good location to the airport and old San Juan this hotel is fine but you might not be able to check in until the evening.

The front desk service guy help us store the luggages before our check in,we’re very appreciate their good service.
The location was great. There were places to eat close by and shopping and actually walkable to Old San Juan, long walk but doable.
The room was smaller than it looked in the photo, but we were only there for 1 night so no big deal.
A great place to stay the night before a cruise, especially if your ship leaves from the Pan American pier. The room was very clean and comfortable. The elevator had the fastest closing door I've ever experienced, so every one needs to be ready to get in quickly! They gave us $17 credit for snacks and drinks from their little snack section. The casual restaurant was great! I had a good chicken quesadilla and a margarita for dinner and an omelette for breakfast.
A matter of perspective. On a night before a cruise ship leaves (Saturday night) prices in San Juan double . So it costs us $400 per night. And it is priced on the low side in terms of price per night of rooms in San Juan on a Saturday
But the room is extremely, and I'm not kidding, extremely small. And the whole hotel is desperately in need of a refresh.
It wasn't dirty, or had bugs or anything like that. But is it worth $400 per night? I guess, when every other hotel is $800 per night and your're only here for 19 hours, you just choke it down.
We ate at the Comodore restaurant /bar dinner and breakfast, and it was good
