Holiday Inn Cleveland Airport West by IHG

Rooms are pretty amazing once they get you in the right one, i got sent to 3 different rooms, remodeling happing but i didnt mind,it was quiet and peaceful, room was clean.

The building is in complete disrepair and being renovated. In its current condition they should not be booking rooms and I'm surprised it's even legal to do so.

The hotel is under complete renovation and from the outside looks like the hotel isn’t even open for reservations. There was holes in the
walls/ceilings of the room/bathroom, bathroom sink had what looked like plaster covered all in it, shower was dirty and covered in dirt, and just looked like housekeeping hasn’t been in the room.

The hotel was under construction so the outside didn’t look the best. They upgraded me to a suite which was nice but the ere were a few issues. The water was slightly brown which made me not really want to shower in it. The tub was not the cleanest. The room was not thoroughly checked as there was still trash in one of my trash cans. The light bulbs in the room also needed to be changed and the remote for the tv did not work either.

People are very nice. They did not have any handicap rooms, so no seat in the shower and difficult to get out of the tub. Nice lighting. Excellent refrigerator. Nice alarm clock. Clean. Very comfortable beds.

This hotel is run down and under construction. It should not still have guests till it’s done. It’s so gross.

DO NOT GO HERE. This place was a complete dump and looked nothing like the pictures. The place was not clean and we found a syringe cap and condom wrapper under our bed. It was very unsanitary. The hallways were also gross. Although it is “undergoing construction” we were not told that when we booked it. So we were unable to enjoy any of the amenities. My boyfriend and I also left there very sick. Not sure what is in the air. When we complained about finding the trash in our room we were not offered a refund or any type of credit for the disgusting hotel room. It looks NOTHING like the pictures. It looks like a hotel. Very nasty 1 star motel.

Definitely was nothing like the pictures but it was fine for 2 nights. Highly recommend if you plan on showering start it a few minutes prior to get warm water!

The staff was super kind.

This hotel is under construction and is extremely rough. I would have immediately turned around and left if there any other hotels available after a concert.

I guess the hotel is being renovated but that’s literally all it should’ve been. It shouldn’t be accepting customers for stays at all it’s a very old hotel! My room reeked of cigarettes & the dust was insane!!

First of all the entire place is under construction which would have been nice to know before booking.. the grounds were not kept and it looked like an abandoned building.. everything in the room was broken, drawers broken, fridge didn’t work; and the smell was awful it smelled so musty. Construction workers were outside my window drilling at 8AM .. so disappointed in this stay

When u first see the hotel, you think it is a mistake cause it looks abandoned or under renovation. Walking to the rooms it was dirty and musty.

The entire hotel was falling apart under construction. The gym and pool were closed. Everything was falling down. I stepped on a nail walking around the hotel. The baloney was covered in construction stuff falling off the hotel. Very unsafe. The room smelled disgusting. The ice maker didn’t work. Stains all over carpet in room.

The hotel is under construction but they put us in a room where there is dry wall exposed and over all the room is dirty. They also have screwed the curtains to the wall and not on a curtain rod either so you can’t open or close them.

The hotel is conveniently located near major highways and across a (busy) street from a shopping mall.
However, it is currently undergoing significant renovations (in order to become a Holiday Inn); the renovations are supposed to be completed by January 2026.
The renovations are immediately obvious throughout the hotel.
Among the highlights: the lobby was cramped, the swimming pool was drained, and the outdoor seating area was unusable.
Our room was oddly configured; the tv was off to one side of the bed (in order to accommodate a sitting area).
The stream of water from the bathtub couldn't be completely turned off, and the shower curtain was tearing away from its hooks.
Although the room had a balcony, it was too narrow to accommodate any chairs.
While free, the continental breakfast had only the most meager offerings.
On the plus side, all of the desk staff we interacted with were friendly.
Because there are several other hotels nearby, we can't recommend this hotel until it can be reevaluated (after the renovations are completed).

Didn’t know the hotel was under new management and construction. I think we were only ones on the whole floor. I think they should warn ppl about construction ppl ahead of time. As the man on scaffold will be able to see ppl as he is on that machine.
Will not be coming back at all!

This place looked like it was closed down, grass overgrown, parking lot had glass and trash all over. It was under construction! I walked in and wasn't sure if I was in the right place. They ran out of my room I requested so they upgraded or should I say downgraded me to a suite. the suite 436 was horrible! very dirty/dusty, the balcony windows had bird poop all over it and the balcony roof was falling down, walking around the room I stuck to the floor, the fridge stunk and had sticky stuff on the handle. the Hotel should be closed down until it is remodeled and cleaned.
