Nice décor, pleasant bar & restaurant, attractive small pool
It's pricy for what you get. Abundant "extra" expenses, e.g., $38 for parking, $30 "resort fee," (It's not a resort.) $12 for a bottle of water in the room, etc. Small signage. Took some driving around the block to find the valet.
Extremely professional, friendly staff across the board. Food at Marco Polo was super, and I considered moving there just to take a tucked away table permanently, bring my laptop, and go to work.
The only thing that I thought would be an improvement would either be a set of drawers in the room or at least one of those foldable suitcase racks to more easily access clothes.
Decent size room! Great vibes. Great location.
Restaurant/pool/location/ staff.
Walks too thin between rooms very difficult to sleep I believe that is only certain rooms so ask them for a quiet floor
Loved everything about this staycation. I have dined at Marco Polo and loved it, but the hotel stay made it extra special. The service was incredibly cool and genuine from the restaurant to the hotel. Pool vibe was chill and not weird or pretentious. Check-in and check out were also lovely, and the valet was kind and friendly from arrival to departure.
Josh was very helpful in getting me checked in and into my room!
Couldn’t ask for better service!
Also very well kept up and very clean!
This place exceeded all expectations. Friendly staff made us feel at home, Briande went above and beyond to make sure everything was going well throughout the night with her great recommendations on food as well as drinks. Every bite was flavorful, a delightful experience from start to finish! The food was exceptional and cocktails were too! Ambiance was perfect for my birthday dinner, very intimate. Highly recommended!
I stay at Silver Lake Pool & Inn every time I visit back home or on business trips. Staff is always warm, friendly and attentive. On this latest stay, America helped with preferences in my room and helping me have the most relaxed weeklong stay possible. The rooms are laid back, and the location is perfect surrounded by shops and restaurants without the tourist trap vibes of Hollywood. Highly recommend for those visiting or in LA for work.
What an excellent, thoughtfully prioritized hotel! So many of the good qualities of some other hotels (The Ace, The Standard, etc), but done so much better!
The room size, layout, and design are incredible. the cork floors, terrazzo sinks, tiled window ledge, plants, etc. All so thoughtful, and everything is so crisp and new feeling. The mini nespresso machine is a perfect touch.
Marco Polo is a great restaurant. The focaccia with tomato compote is insane, as is the cacio e pepe and the vongole. I had a lovely martini there as well.
These are truly minor issues...
The sound isolation between rooms (and floors) could be better. You can hear neighboring toilets flushing and the murmuring of people speaking in the adjacent rooms.
A Bluetooth speaker to connect your phone to to play music in the rooms would be a nice addition.
I wish that tiled window ledge had a space to sit at, to work, or to eat. A table or desk is the one thing missing.
The closet light should turn off when the door is shut, not on a timer.
Could use a coat hook/s right after you exit the entry to hang jackets and clothing.
It would be amazing if there were a few spa amenities on offer, but now I'm reaching!
I had the best experience staying here!! The rooms were beautiful and the staff was so helpful and welcoming! Carley was very friendly and even gave us some recommendations on where in the area to check out. We ended up having the best night! We will definitely be coming back to stay here in the future.
Came for business and stayed for two weeks. Carlos with valet was amazing! Friendly staff. Always felt taken care of. Lovely place to stay, great location.
Had an amazing dining experience!!! Everyone I encountered was friendly. I checked in at the front desk of the hotel with Miguel who was knowledgeable and professional and directed me to meet my friend. He offered me to sit and wait while he contacted my friend to meet me in the lobby which was festive and decorated tastefully for the holidays.
Once my friend met me we headed for the restaurant. We were greeted by Jeffrey who seated us. He promptly asked us what we would like to drink. I had a Coastal Sprtiz which is my fav at Marco Polo and my friend had a Naked & Famous which has Mezcal. I had a taste and it was really good and tasty. The meal from beginning to end was excellent. Throughout the meal Jeffrey and Amy Jo kept checking in. The service was on point! We also had a surprise visit from Chef Jesse. I made sure to tell him what a great job he did with food preparation and presentation. Every dish tasted amazing! We had the Fall Burrata with butternut quash which was to die for followed by the baked clams also very good. For entrees we had the Paccheri Allá Vodka and Hanger Steak both cooked to perfection and for dessert the best Pumpkin Olive Oil Cake! A visit to Marco Polo at the Silverlake Pool & Inn is a must when in Silverlake. Kudos to all for one the best dining experiences I’ve had in a very long time! I’ll definitely be back to try the Panettone French Toast! Cheers!
Loved this cute hotel in one of my fav LA neighbourhoods super convenient . Great pool and great service especially America, great service making our stay unforgettable - thank you !!!
Amazing rooms, very cozy and welcoming vibes! Shower head was high up for my tall fellas. Carley and Miguel were super helpful and welcoming, even giving great suggestions on where to hang out around the area. I can’t wait to stay here again soon, can’t stress enough how great the service is here. 10/10 recommending to my friends and family just based off of the service and quality of the room. Shout out to Carley and Miguel for the great first impression, and room service for the room set up.
I’ve been meaning to review this neighborhood gem for a long time and wanted to register my amazing experience here a few weeks ago. The vibes here are immaculate, from the music to great drinks to the outdoor area which mix the best of California and Italy. I came with a friend for happy hour and drinks on a Thursday afternoon and had a great time. Our server Leslie was friendly and attentive and made great recommendations on food and drinks. We especially liked the oysters, charred broccolini and linguini vongole off the dinner menu. Everything tasted fresh and delicious.
The supervisor Melissa also made sure to drop by our table to say hi and make sure everything was to our liking. We also got lucky enough to meet the chef, Jesse, who was excited to tell us about the food and recommended the olive oil cake for the dessert which was to die for!
It’s too bad I moved away from this area because when I lived in silverlake, this was my go to place. Great bartenders (especially Ivy), servers, and the pool events in the spring and summer are awesome! The coffee and brunch are also top notch, and I’m planning on coming back for my birthday soon.
I comfort, cleanliness and the staff is iutstanding
They never put enough towels in the room
Went for brunch, paid 25 per person for bottomless mimosas, well worth it!
The brunch was excellent!I would say the french toast was the best!
