Despite a ban on smoking on the premises, the room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke - perhaps due to the age of the building, but it detracted from what was otherwise a great stay.
Property was charming. Checkin was easy. Staff was pleasant. Ample parking even though people from the neighbouring hospital clearly use it.
We got stuck in the elevator, missed dinner. Staff was apologetic but didn't really offer any form of compensation. We were given an accessibility room and it was missing most of the charm of the rest of the property.

This is historical building. Plumbing is modernized but the A/C system is not working well.

Like the uniqueness of the property
Has gone downhill since previous stays.
Room was missing many items (I.e. hair dryer, waste baskets, etc.) the fellow at the front desk was pleasant but did not understand or speak English well enough to understand us.
It is an old and beautiful hotel. Room size is good. Staff are good
Breakfasttttt!!!! Small saloon with very basic breakfast. Like a 2 star hotel. They Should improve their breakfast, otherwise they should take a maximum 3 star rate.
Loved the style of the building, the high ceilings and the view over the immaculate lawns. Easy access to restaurants . We loved that the main doors opened automatically and the room was large enough for me to roll out my yoga mat to do my stretches.
We thought the pet
fees were ridiculously high.
I like the architecture of the building and room. Yard view was amazing and refreshing with beautiful grass, Room and bathroom spacious.
● Kinda feel like beds were a lil smaller than queen size 🤔 but my family and I managed.
● I wish we had a microwave to warm lunch.
Came in at the end of breakfast and it had been picked over but I expect it would be better earlier in the morning. There was plenty of choice.

Wonderful and unique hotel. It was actually a courthouse that was converted to a hotel and it is amazing.
Breakfast was great and had great options. The room was very big, bed was great, pillows, size, absolutely fantastic!
And the most important part, I front desk lady, who I can’t remember her name, she was absolutely wonderful and helpful. She was amazing! To the hotel management, please share with her how great she is. I checked in on June 13th 2026 around 6:20pm - and she did everything to make it very smooth for me and my family. Thanks 🙏
The view we had, the history of the building, comfortable beds and quiet

Only one elevator that was very busy.
Rooms need to be clean. I found dead insects in the bathroom.
Nous avons aimé l'aspect historique de l'édifice et son emplacement, mais c'est à peu près tout...
Nous n'avons pas apprécié d'avoir été placés dans une chambre au sous-sol même si nous avions réservé il y a plusieurs mois, alors qu'il restait encore bien des disponibilités au moment de faire notre réservation. On nous a relégués au sous-sol, sans vue aucune, dans un lieu étouffant, sous prétexte qu'il ne restait plus de disponibilités. Nous sommes arrivés vers 18h à l'hôtel, quand même pas si tard... L'insonorisation du plafond de la chambre du sous-sol est inadéquat et nous avons entendu les gens marcher sans cesse à partir de 4h du matin. Pas trop génial, surtout que nous avions expressément demandé une chambre tranquille... Je doute que tous les clients avaient aussi réservé leur chambre il y a des mois... Il me semble qu'un client qui réserve bien avant les autres clients devrait avoir préséance sur l'emplacement de la chambre... Aussi, le personnel du soir et du matin était froid, peu accueillant et peu accommodant. :-(
The building itself is really fascinating. The converted courthouse makes an excellent backdrop for the hotel. Breakfast was very good; enough variety for most people.
There wasn't an ice machine on our level; certainly not a showstopper but it would have been nice. Also, a little booklet or something with a list of restaurants and services nearby would have been helpful.
