Super Hotel!! Direkt am Meer, etwas abseits des großen Trubels 👍👍
Pros:

Direkt am Strand, man fällt vom Pool direkt in das Meer, absolut Top!!
Super Frühstück, auch am Abendessen gab es nichts zu bemängeln.
Mit Spielecke für die Kinder 👍👍👍

Good value for a place right on beach. But too far from Hikkaduwa

Right on the beach. Good pool. Food in restaurant was ok. Although menu was limited the food was tasty. Staff were very nice .

Cons:

Too far from main Hikkaduwa Beach. It is a tuk tuk ride to the town, personally would rather have stayed there as no other restaurants close by. Room not serviced daily ( they were happy to give us more towels ). Breakfasts were very simple, fruit and eggs. Rooms were drab, bed too soft for our liking. The whole place was closing for 2 months for paint and repair, so next season it could look better.

Didnt even stay

Literally nothing

Cons:

We didnt end up staying.
"family friendly" didnt even have a high chair in the restaurant
"children stay for free" tried to charge 10$ per night to rent a cot for my baby.
The pool was dirty with maybe 4 sun loungers around it.
Beach was there but no where to relax, they said we could take the loungers from the pool down to the beach - carrying two children and a sun lounger down a concrete flight of stairs? no thanks.
Manager was rude, called the owner to query the cot charge (I have traveled to over 50 countries with my children and have only ever been charged once for a cot)
It was out of the way of the main street of Hikkadua and literally no where around to eat.

Schnukkeliges Hotel direkt am Strand
Pros:

Absolut schnuckeliges kleines Hotel direkt am Strand mit einem tollen Pool und hilfesbereitem Personal. Die Busstation war nur 100 meter weiter. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Cons:

Mussten leider immer etwas länger als erhofft auf die Drinks und das Essen warten. Das Frühstück hätte etwas abwechslungsreicher sein können.

Pros:

Very child friendly hotel right at the beach on the calmer side of Hikkaduwa. My 8 year old son and I liked it so much we decided to stay an additional night. We first stayed in a room with beautiful sea view. The second room was a family room with two beds towards the street (the only one that was left), this was also nice and well suited for a family of four. I can highly recommend this hotel.

Das Hotel ist an einem ruhigen Ort und etwas abseits aber dadurch ganz besonders ruhig. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war ein perfekter Start in unseren Urlaub.
