Really comfortable stay right in the heart of Kyoto ( i consider kiyomizudera the heart 😆)
Pros:

Location is so close to kiyomizudera! The nearest station is a bit of a walk but the bus stop is really close and reliable. The room was spacious and included a kitchenette. The staff were really helpful with everything.

Nothing. Everything was excellent!

Despite lack of space we enjoyed our stay.
Pros:

Excellent location near the main temples an Gion area. Walkable from Kyoto station. Near to supermarkets and bus stops. Manned front desk helpful. They provided 1 cleaning and change of towels during our stay.

Cons:

Very limited cooking utensils provided. Layout strange and a bit cramped.

Recommended for proximity to town center and very high standards of cleanliness.
Pros:

Very close to many sights and within walking distance to Gion and downtown.

Family Mart supermarket across the road.

Small kitchen and washing machine in the room. Be prepared to use a translation app and AI to operate it.

Cons:

Nothing to be disliked.

The rule sheet displayed in the room sounds a little off-putting at first, but when you see how some people behave it is understandable. Staff was nice and friendly to us.

There is a road with considerable traffic right in front of the premises. Be prepared for sound. Not so much as it’d disturb me, but decide for yourself.
