I had a room with a terrace which was lovely.
Room was very small and quite dark.
Fabulous location, just 2 steps from Gloucester Road Station, plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.

Breakfast! Although plenty of choice for continental breakfast, pancakes were cold and so were the waffles...
I did see boiled eggs but they were cold too.. fancied scrambled eggs but couldn't see any. When we finished one lady next to us asked for scrambled eggs and was given some. This annoyed me a bit as there was no sign they were available.
If this ibis was serving cooked breakfast it would have been perfect!
For £14 pounds each, we felt what we got wasn't a good value for money..

Good standard . Comfortable bed quick check in room ready 2 hours early.
Small room tea tray was not stocked. Over priced for room size no mini fridge only 2 towels

First room offered was in the basement. Moved to 3rd floor room which was better but smaller

Lower ground floor corridor and rooms absolutely stunk, the smell was unbearable.
Went to complain and the staff were useless, didn't even go down to see, couldn't book us another ibis, had no spare rooms, left us standing with our bags in reception at 23.30 with no options, terrible service and attitude. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
We did eventually get a refund at midnight and left for another hotel in the area.
The location is wonderful. Good breakfast. Close to tube station. Close to V&A museum and Kensington garden. Supermarket close to the hotel
No fridge in the room. It was necessary for eye drops and food. Coffee machine was not operating the first day. We received the instant coffee
The Location in the Heart of Kensington is perfect to explore London and with Gloucester Road Underground Station right around the corner it’s a good spot to stay.
Rooms are quite small and sometimes in the basement with only a little window.
