A beautiful, historic building with a lot of character. Wonderful sea views from the room and the conservatory where we had breakfast; easy parking
The views from the hotel are very good as you can see the sun setting over the ocean. The breakfast is great.
The view and the staff
Valve for money, we paid £147 per night, I feel the 40% fee was based on location
Excellent breakfast cooked to order.
Good location. Easy walk into town. Fabulous view
A unique building with a fascinating history. Lovely to lie in bed and hear the waves gently crashing in on the shore, very relaxing. The Hosts were very friendly and chatty and are fortunate to be in guardianship of such a beautiful building. I was out early in the morning to walk along the sea front and look back at the Hotel to admire it's design. Considering mine was a last minute booking I could hardly have done better !
Great location and views. Great breakfast. And comfy bed.
Decoration a little tired
Nice location
The views were excellent
Lovely location, great breakfast, friendly and helpful staff.
Bathroom was a bit small.
Lovely hotel with a bit of history
Nothing
It was so beautiful, the views were lovely and it was only a short walk from the front.
A very warm welcome, excellent full English breakfast and everywhere was very clean.
Decor a bit tired in places.
Absolutely stunning location, the staff were so sweet and kind - lovely warm welcome and breakfast was always served with a smile! The views at breakfast and from our room were spectacular! Town is only a 10 mins walk away (takes a little longer to get back up the hill if you’ve had a few pints!!) and there’s lots to do and some great places to eat and drink on the evenings! Highly recommend!!!
Just beautiful inside , took you back to another world
Nothing
Plenty of breakfast and lovely seating area overlooking the sea
Nothing
Food was reasonable. Difficult to park car because of parking layout.
Definitely NOT 4 star. Property in dire need of renovation and update. Photographs on website made hotel look bigger than it actually was. Room uncomfortable. It was very hot - needed some kind of air-conditioning/fan. Outdated shower system in bathroom.
