Was alright
Excelente, el lugar está increíble. Muy limpio, amplio y cómodo. Nosotros fuimos a un concierto en el crypto arena y fuimos y regresamos caminando, está muy cerca. Muy buena comunicación antes y durante nuestra estancia
Property was presented to me as a Hotel experience, but was nothing like it. After I booked and paid for the place I received a long list of instructions to verify my identity, which included photos of myself, myself holding DL, screenshots of my bank with the deposits they sent and 14 page contract about renting the space. It took me over 57 messages to sort this out. Finally, the place itself is nice, but located in a horrible corner of LA, with homeless people camping on the corner, Sunday night on my way to the rooftop I saw a homeless guy who got inside and was doing drugs. Place not worth it, get a 4 star hotels for the same money.
Coming to LA for Grammys I rented to spaces for myself and my assistant. I could not use the second property because the verification process was too tedious and my assistant did not feel comfortable of taking selfies of herself, I asked for refund but did not get anything. The selling point for abode is its relatively low price for the area, but it makes up for that with a real pain in the butt check-in (plan for it to take multiple days of back-and-forth emails and for the website to be glitchy) and a less safe stay. There is no on-site concierge, and we were frequently tailed or blocked from entering by homeless folks on the street. Our final morning, we walked out the front door to a pile of feces. The interior of the apartment was overall acceptable and sanitary, but run down. The washer was moldy, the dryer was broken, most of the electrical outlets didn't work, the bedroom slider door was off its tracks so it couldn't close, and the sleeper sofa was so scratched up that you couldn't sit on it without acquiring little shards of black pleather. The kitchen and bathroom were updated, however, and easy to use. If given a do-over for this business trip, I'd have gone with one of the more expensive area hotels or cabbed in from something farther away.
Cleanliness the apartment was dirty
The check in process was very easy . It was quiet and enough space for my family of 5 . Upon arrival my son was going to sleep on the sofa bed but it was broken so he ended up just sleeping on the couch . The second room had curtains to block everyone out one of the curtains was hanging out of the ceiling. The shower only had one shower door which wasn’t terrible as it was a waterfall shower but still awkward. There were a lot of nice little shops and places to eat in walking distance. The apartment building was very quiet and we loved the rooftop area to wind down after a long day of universal studios and exploring the area. I loved that the apartment was fully furnished so we were able to feel at home. We have already decided when we come back to LA we will be booking again! I highly recommend this place for next vacation stay.

We had a wonderful stay. The accommodations were as described and very lovely. The building was quiet, in fact we rarely ever heard the other tenants in the building. I have no fault with the apartment at all. But I would caution anyone thinking of staying here about the street noise and parking situation. This building is located in downtown LA, which is a convenient location. However, the area can be quite active and noisy, even late into the evening and early morning. If you are a might sleeper then this might not be a great place for you. If worked out fine for us as we all quickly feel back to sleep after each disturbance. The real headache for us was the parking. Our options were to park in the street, at metered spots, which were scarce or to pay to park on a lot, but the issue here was none offered overnight parking. Abode directs you to an app that is supposed to give parking help, but it's pretty much useless as many of the locations only offered an address but no way to ask about overnight accommodations. The prices listed on the app were often, if not always, incorrect. This is a great place to stay, but think twice if you have it rent a car. Nearby hotels did offer parking and those might be a better option. I was traveling with family that included children, so the two bedrooms and kitchen was perfect for us. The only negative was hunting for parking each day. We were a group of women so at night we felt a little but unsafe walking back to the apartment at nigh.

Location
Decent place to stay near Downtown LA. The house was good with a complete self check in process. The instructions were clear, but it's important to provide the identity information ahead of your stay to ensure a smooth check in.
The house was very clean however the place had a strange smell(possibly from the cleaning liquids used by the cleaners) which went away the 2nd day onwards.
