Hotel is like staying at an airport motel. We had no body wash in our bathroom. Air vent goes right onto bed. Had to put the ironing board in front to try to divert the air from going right onto your head when you sleep.
No night light to find anything at night. Just can’t recommend!
Nice new

A wonderful Hotel in a great location
Habitación amplia. Baño limpio con buenos productos de aseo. Ubicación excelente, se puede caminar a la marina
La hora del check in a las 4 pm me parece muy tarde
From the moment you pull up to the valet until you leave, everything is handled with ease, and the staff are genuinely engaged and friendly. They help you immediately with your luggage, and as they see you to your room, there is a warmth that feels natural and unforced, as though you have been invited into someone’s home.
They offer a very generous gift card to use at the hotel, which sets the tone from the start. When you walk into the room, the first thing you notice is the size. The rooms are unbelievably large for Los Angeles, and they are filled with light from large sliding glass doors that open to a small balcony, offering a wide, open view of the harbor. Wood floors instead of wall-to-wall carpet make it feel especially clean, and everything is modern, well-designed, and easy to use. There are no scuff marks, no damage, nothing overlooked. You have all the amenities, a proper desk setup, charging stations, a coffee machine, and large, spotless bathrooms that are in perfect condition.
I can stay anywhere in Los Angeles, but I choose to stay here because they make you feel at home and welcome.
Nothing.
Just wrapped up a week stay here. We stayed before and liked it. This trip we had a 7th floor room overlooking the marina. It was a pretty view. Even though there’s a busy street right below it is quiet at night.
The hotel was good overall. Standout items are the rooms are clean, the M Club is very good, especially the breakfast, the lobby is spacious and relaxed and the location of the hotel is really good for what we needed. The pool area is small but very clean and very pleasant. The views both toward the marina and north toward. Denice and Santa Monica are lovely!
The negatives this trip were housekeeping seemed slow, one day at 5 PM they still had t serviced the room. But ultimately we always had what we needed. I also noted the conditioner ran out and was not checked or replaced during our stay.
Overall we’d stay again and like the Marina Del Rey area closeness to Venice and Santa Monica.
Terrible check-in/front desk service, terrible house keeping
The short Asian guy at check in has a real attitude, like he is doing you a favor for spending your money to stay at the Marriott. What a jerk!
The housekeeping never came and by 5 pm, we had to call "At your service" line from the room phone and speak to an AI robot who says they would get housekeeping to our room. When we double checked that it was noted with the front desk, there was no such notation. Front desk had to make the notation. Housekeeping did finally come and was sub par, did the bare minimum.
The only redeeming staff were the wait staff (Jesse of 30 years at this Marriott) and the bartender. They were genuine and delivered top notch service.
Time for a different hotel for us.
Modern, quiet, clean, great location
