Big comfortable beds, nice flat screen tv
What looked like a large blood stain on the floor, too noisy early morning on the second floor
Was clean, staff was friendly.
We didn’t eat breakfast. I was told over the phone complimentary breakfast. When I got there and asked, they said they give me a 10% off voucher for breakfast at the restaurant next door.
I didn’t like them lying to me about there being a free free breakfast.
This was the most affordable option in the Kenora area at the time, even though it ended up being the most expensive stay on my road trip. After several long days of driving, it was actually a very good place to rest. The room was quiet and comfortable, and I was finally able to properly relax and recover from the journey. Overall, it served its purpose well as a stop to recharge.
The bathtub plug was not sealing properly. I had to adjust the rubber seal myself to keep the water in the tub. It worked in the end, but it could use a small repair or replacement.
Not one thing
This was by far the worst hotel I had stayed in . This hotel should be removed off of your site so other people do not fall for this and stay there. Our first night there ; the police had to come arrest 4 people that were fighting in a room down the hall at 3am. There was a crack pipe my son (who’s 10) found on the stairway . To top it off the second night a drunk man kicked in my neighbours door at 1130pm and entered their room screaming “I’m going to kill you carmen” My neighbour had 2 little girls and a little boy staying in their room who I had to bring into our room until the police arrived . They then switched hotels because this one is CLEARLY unsafe. At that point while the police were at the hotel talking to us , another gentlemen got stabbed in the parking lot. There was police officers with helmets and full machine guns in the parking lot , 2 ambulances ALL NIGHT. Me and my two children did not sleep. Then when talking to the manager Sunday morning I was told “this kind of thing never happens” LOL well after reading reviews back to 2021 , it sounds like it does… A LOT
There was no breakfast, so I cannot rate you on that. The only thing that I can say something good about was. Yeah, that the staff was friendly when we checked in
What I didn't like is that advertising that they had a pool and a hot tub right? When they did not, it is out of order and has been for many years and the mattresses were horrible as was the lighting in the bedroom. You could not even do your makeup to get ready to head out for the evening
The restaurant was the only good thing.
The rooms are gross and dated. There was crack pipes in the stairs. Someone broke into one of our hockey teams room while they were sleeping. Someone got stabbed on the property
The service
The beds were hard and springy
it was clean, the tv and cable worked, the bathroom and bedding were sufficiently stocked that we didn't have to request anything
mattresses had springs you could hear, the hot tub didn't work, the room temperature was so hot we had to open the window and turn the thermostat off to get the room comfortable. A little expensive for just a place to sleep and shower.
Huge room, lots of space. Very helpful staff. Awesome water pressure in the shower!
Nothing I can think of
The hotel is the middle of Kenora and pretty close to everything.
Our room was recently renovated and the beds were super comfortable!
It would be nice to see the pools back up and running
There was none.
The room had a terrible odor, and for seniors it was not easy access at all. Very over priced. Most expensive room on our travels.
None
Run down, outdated, not a clean scent, noisy drunks outside
The staff member was friendly and refunded our money
There were 3 drug deals outside in the 15 minutes we were there. Our bed was broken and the smell of the place was putrid.
Location , price and friendly staff
It’s run down but clean
