Cons:

I was disappointed with my stay at the GreenTree Inn Flagstaff. After checkout, the hotel charged around $25 per room from my deposit without any explanation. No additional fees were mentioned during the checkout process. I tried to reach the hotel directly, by email, and through Booking.com, but every attempt was ignored. I'm leaving a low rating because a hotel at this level should respond to a guest's inquiry — and future guests should be aware of this before booking

Absolutely gross and uncomfortable and inconvenient
Pros:

No place to sit together. One desk chair with a small desk. I had to sit on the bed. It hurt my back. No clock, ice bucket, paper or pen, the advertized pool and spa shut down (we came with our suits). Breakfast was terrible. We saw a color picture advertising their breakfast with eggs, potatoes, sausage and bacon. None of that was there. Just carbs. Bagles, cereal, and waffles with a faulty waffle cooker. In our room the floor felt super dirty so I took a wet paper towel and wiped about a 12 inch area. The towel was black when I looked at it. It was awful and I want a complete refund.

Misrepresentations and a pool/spa that exists in fact but not according to the staff
Pros:

We only book hotels with pools and spas.
Upon arrival I waited at the desk while the front desk person was busy texting on her phone. 2 minutes later a second person appeared and checked me in.
Upon payment, I mentioned it would be nice if the hotel had posted that the pool and spa were closed.
She said: "We don't have a pool."
The problem was that I just parked in front of the pool/spa.
She again said that "We don't have a pool."
A flagrant lie as far as I was concerned.
It was late afternoon on a Sunday and had just driven 300 miles and was in no state to argue about it AND the fact I wouldn't have booked this hotel.
Breakfast the following morning ranked as the second WORST hotel breakfast of the 100s I've experienced.
In addition, the Guest Directory clearly stated breakfast runs until 10. We arrived at 8:40 and it looked like they were closing up. The staffer said it ends at NINE AM.
I pointed out that the Guest Directory says 10, to which she stated it ends at 9.
The food selection was SPARSE, not even sweet breads. The bagels were likely among the worst.. No proteins and not as pictured.
The room doesn't have a lounge chair or a table.
Not the cleanest either.
I will never book here, and if the reviews had been honest, I would not have considered this Hotel

My go to
Pros:

I always stay here when I am passing through Flagstaff. I have stayed here multiple times. The continental breakfast is fine, and the rooms have been renovated recently. Unfortunately, some high school kids trashed their rooms here and they had to raise the damage deposit. If you are looking for a place to party or wreck, please go elsewhere. This is a decent and well located hotel (near the freeway for travelers).

A good stay with the potential of being better
Pros:

Location, pillows, bagels & waffles were good. I also enjoyed your choice of regular coffee.

Cons:

We wanted to check in 1 hr early. I had specifically said my arrival would be around 2 pm. When we arrived the parking lot was empty and the receptionist looked bored & would rather charge us $35 rather than accommodate us.

The shower floor also had a weird angle & was very slick when wet. Also, the shower curtain did not keep the bathroom floor from getting wet.

It would have been nice to have a meat or egg choice for breakfast. Fresh fruit would also be appreciated

The floors were dirty. I spilled something, used a towel to clean it up and the towel was BLACK. There was also hair on the bathroom floor and in the shower.

Good value with just the right amenities and cleanliness.
Pros:

EV chargers available, very clean room, nice shower remodel.

Cons:

Walkways could be cleaner, breakfast was just ok. Noise from highway was just a little too noticeable.

We loved loved it here and would stay here again and again!!
Pros:

The location was great!! Flagstaff is beautiful and this motel is right in the middle of restaurants and conveniently across the street from a Walmart. We loved our stay. I would stay again!

Cons:

Breakfast!!! I would have liked eggs and sausage as well. I am someone who focuses on eating protein and the breakfast at this motel did not serve this. This is something I would change.
