They were fairly clean.
The air conditioning did not work or was too noisy to turn on. It was extremely noisy. You could hear the people above us starting @5am. The front desk called us @an hour after we arrived and asked when do we check in and what was our last name repeatedly? You would have thought they would’ve known that the information was in the computer. The bed was so hard my husband and I both woke up completely sore.
Great service
Beds are great size and rooms are always nice and clean always my go to place when need to stay the night around the area
Cheap and near to Berkeley. The newish laminate flooring was clean. Mattress was firm. There were no bugs.
Shabby. Sticky treads in staircase. Strong smell of cleaning fluids. Sagging old sofa in dark corner of room. Very low water pressure. Sheets too short for bed. Towels old and worn, though clean. Barely civil reception. Sketchy neighborhood.
It was cinnamon rolls and coffee and they took the cinnamon rolls away very quickly
The management approach to its guest. He didn't show the respect that most so-called upper class motels receptionist shows. He actually went outside and wrote down my license plate from my rental car. When I tell him I thought I had booked suite with a kitchenette he told me, that all the rooms were the same. I was placed in a room on the second floor way in the back. Near the exit where I can hear people coming up and down from the third floor which I found out later from another guess that the motel did have rooms on the third floor with kitchenettes which I never did even get up chance to look at. One of the lights in my bathroom was out and I cut my head shaving and when my girlfriend went down to the front desk to ask for a Band-Aid she was told that they did not have a medical kit. Which later another receptionist said they did and that they had found it.. final analysis is the hotel was decent and okay place to stay at but the management has a lot to be desired I think the head receptionist name was Tony. He also told me there was no smoking section which there was tour right he kept harping on no smoking which had signs all over the motel he seemed to be a little uncomfortable with me being a black traveler, he was not very friendly or courteous, and definitely didn't seem to offer any hospitality.

The room was super clean, and it didn't smell like cigarettes or bad odors.
Close to work
Unfriendly staff
I love that there's no carpet on the floor!
For a 6'4" tall male, the toilet is very low to the floor. We've found that the handicap rooms have higher toilets. The handicap rooms are on the 1st floor. There's a brick wall that blocks the view & light.
The bed in this room wasn't as comfortable as the beds in rooms of our previous stays.
Nothing
Staff was not friendly, did not greet you when you walked in or out. Room smelled like straight cigarettes it was horrible
smell of canabis
