The restaurant has really stepped up their pace since the last time I stayed in this hotel. Everything was amazing from cocktails to our meal. The staff especially Jerome are amazing.!!!!

Cons:

this sounds minor, but when you’re trying to get going out of town, nothing’s better than a piping hot cup of coffee to start your pace in the morning. The in room coffee is not to my liking and I ordered a pot every morning. The only negative is it takes a solid hour to get a pot of coffee, which is basically not acceptable

I liked the furniture, lounge areas and the beds.

Cons:

There were a couple broken or defective items in my hotel room (shower handle, light knobs, etc). There was also a hallway door that shut and kept my from accessing my room at some point.

Generally a good place, nice facilities, e.g., bar and restaurant.
Pros:

The hotel is nice and the staff is generally friendly. The inside of the hotel is very quiet, which was great. The bar and restaurant were fabulous and so was the staff there!

Cons:

Although I was told when we were checking out that they could have upgraded our room - nice to tell me when checking in rather than checking out. Also, the staff weren't very forthcoming about helping w/directions or other suggestions (at least at the front desk). The windows are old and easily allow lots of noise to come in from the noisy streets outside. There's a small park behind the hotel - don't go near there after dark b/c it's filled w/homeless folks and smells strongly of urine.

Disappointing
Cons:

The coffee was absolutely horrible in the room. The coffee machine was useless. This made go down stairs and pay 5 a cup for horrible coffee. I am hilton honors but will no longer participate in the program. Thank God, I book with an outside vender. If I had paid Hilton prices I would have even more pissed with the experience.

We had a fantastic time, we would still highly recommend it but hope some of these things get updated.
Pros:

It’s stunning, the valet was so convenient, the location was ideal, room service was great. The beds were comfortable and I love that it was quiet we never heard any noise from neighbors.

Cons:

The little things that just make it nicer, our tv was too dim to watch anything on and the setting couldn’t be changed, the fridge barely worked. You had to pay extra for WiFi and that just feels a little tasteless to bleed us dry when we’re already paying for the hotel and valet and WiFi should come with basic amenities. There were a few spots that weren’t fully clean (mainly the walls).

A warm welcome and abundant hospitality for weary travelers at the Candler Hotel!
Pros:

My son, his dog, and I were on a road trip for a family holiday celebration and arrived late at night the day after Christmas at the Candler Hotel after a ten-hour stint of driving. We were welcomed so warmly and kindly by everyone, from the valets out front and the clerks at the front desk, to guest services and room service. We felt pampered and cared for, and I'm already planning to come back in the future!
