Our experience at The Candler Hotel Atlanta was exceptional from the moment we arrived, and a huge part of that was thanks to Phuong at the front desk.
Phuong’s professionalism, patience, and genuine kindness made our check-in effortless. She took the time to answer every question thoroughly, accommodated our requests with flexibility, and made us feel like valued guests rather than just another reservation. It’s rare to encounter someone who combines efficiency with such a warm and welcoming personality, and she truly set the tone for an outstanding stay.
The level of customer service throughout the hotel was equally impressive. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, attentive, and eager to help. You can tell the team takes great pride in creating a memorable guest experience, and it showed in every interaction.
The hotel itself is absolutely stunning. The historic architecture blended with elegant modern touches creates a sophisticated yet inviting atmosphere. Every detail of the décor feels thoughtfully designed, from the beautifully restored lobby to the stylish guest rooms. The ambiance is luxurious without feeling pretentious.
The Candler Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Between the impeccable service, gorgeous surroundings, and the outstanding hospitality from Phuong and the entire staff, this is easily one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had in Downtown Atlanta. We highly recommend staying here, and we look forward to returning on our next visit!

Great location. Great amenities. The atmosphere is nice & welcoming. The king room with city view was perfect for our needs. The hotel is very well kept and clean. The service provided by the valet team was top notch! We would definitely stay here again & recommend it to others!
Our daughter is in her third year at Spelman, and we have family in the area, so we visit Atlanta often. I am NOT a hotel person, but this place feels like a home away from home. The staff are like family, the atmosphere is always warm and inviting, and the space is ALWAYS impeccably clean. The George restaurant inside of the hotel has amazing food! Jerome and all of the valet attendants are so kind, genuine, and personable. I have booked this hotel no fewer than ten times, sometimes with all five of my children, sometimes just myself and my husband. We won’t stay anywhere else. If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and stay at the Candler.
