Pros:

We had an amazing stay at The Candler Hotel over Mother’s Day weekend! The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, relaxing, and full of charm. From the moment we arrived, the staff was attentive, welcoming, and genuinely engaging, which made our stay feel extra special.
We also had brunch at their restaurant - by George, and everything was wonderful. The staff was amazing, the food was delicious, and the rum punch is an absolute must-have! It was easily one of the highlights of the weekend.
One of the things I enjoyed most was learning about the rich history of the hotel. It truly adds to the unique experience and makes The Candler feel like such a special place to visit.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable stay in Atlanta!

Recommend
Pros:

Gorgeous hotel that is walking distance to the State Farm Arena and the Olympic Park. Service was fabulous too. The restaurant had an incredible breakfast menu.

Nothing too much trouble for wonderful staff!
Pros:

We’ve just left after an outstanding couple of days at this wonderful hotel. We arrived late, tired and jet lagged after a 16 hour journey to be met by one of the warmest receptionists we’ve ever encountered. (Colombian lady who studied in Eastbourne in England for a while - we can’t believe we didn’t get her name). Her friendly but professional demeanour set the tone for our entire stay - the hotel has a group of staff who are determined to make their guests happy and who clearly take enormous pride in doing so. Big thanks to Jermaine on the front door who recommended Gus’s chicken for lunch and who was outstanding friendly to us throughout our stay. The hotel is a wonderful conversion of a building with plenty of history, the bedroom was immaculately presented too. We were sorry to leave but excited to return in a couple of weeks at the end of our road trip. With thanks to the team!

Another enjoyable stay!
Pros:

My second stay at The Candler was just as enjoyable as the first stay several years ago. I chose this hotel over the many others in the area because of its elegance, tasteful interior design and friendly, attentive staff. Jerome, Lavelle, Avery, Natalia and every other staff member I came in contact with (reception, door, housekeeping) --- thank you for making my stay so comfortable and enjoyable. I'll be seeing you again soon, I hope!

Good hotel in great location downtown.
Pros:

Lovely old building that has been lovingly renovated. Great location so could walk to the attractions in downtown and midtown. Rooms were large and well appointed. Nice bar and restaurant. Quick service in By George.

Cons:

Housekeeping service at weekend did not happen which is fine. Found a lady who could provide me with coffee and water.

SUPER customer service!!
Pros:

We have stayed at the Candler several times over the past year or two and our stay is excellent every time!! The rooms are comfortable and very clean (I can tell the cleaners have gone over and above what other hotels do for cleaning), the building is gorgeous and well maintained, and the food is great! Most of all Jerome is extremely kind, helpful, and friendly!! He consistently provides EXCELLENT customer service. I hurt my back before this last stay and he was so caring and willing to help with anything I needed. You just don't see customer service like this anymore. Lavette was also very sweet and kind and helpful!! They are awesome!!!

Overnight stay
Pros:

We used this hotel to break up our flight and it’s everything we required it to be. Approximately 20 mins in an uber from the airport, great location in the centre of Atlanta, short walk to the aquarium. The room was large, comfortable mattress, strong power shower. Quick check in, a cheeky cocktail post exploring. Woke refreshed and happy to continue or journey onwards. If you are transiting through Atlanta this is a great choice over a nondescript airport hotel
