O quarto fica numas águas furtadas baixas onde a pessoa está permanentemente curva e com várias situações de pancadas da cabeça no teto do quarto. Apenas uma janela minúscula ao nível do chão, o que implica não haver luz natural. Estas informações não são transmitidas na descrição do quarto. Tentámos contactar o proprietário mas nunca obtivemos resposta.

Please read before booking. Extremely poorly sound insulation and unnecessarily rude host
Pros:

On the positive side, having access to a shared kitchen and the small patio is nice. The room is pleasant enough aesthetically, although a bit small and claustrophobic. Please read negatives before booking here though.

Cons:

Unfortunately, we had to leave after our first night because of the extreme lack of sound insulation. The owner’s dismissive and unnecessarily rude response when we raised the issue made the experience even worse.

The problem was not simply that Mallorca is busy in August or that there were people outside. There seemed to be virtually no sound insulation within the property. We could hear conversations in the communal area as though people were inside our room, as well as cutlery, doors, guests entering and leaving their rooms, and practically every movement from upstairs. The window also provided very little insulation from outside noise.

The owner pointed out that the property is old. Of course an old building comes with limitations, but this level of noise transfer should be disclosed so guests can make an informed decision. When we raised this, one of his responses was that “the accommodation is exactly as you saw in the photos,” which misses the point: photos cannot communicate noise levels or lack of sound insulation.

My girlfriend is sensitive to noise, so we checked out after the first night. We politely asked whether a refund for the two unused nights might be possible. We were not demanding or expecting one and understood the answer could be no.

What disappointed us was his response. Rather than simply declining, he told us we should “not travel during the busiest and noisiest month,” said they “can’t cater to everyone’s whims,” and told us “you chose it.” Our complaint was about the property’s sound insulation and its lack of disclosure, not Mallorca being busy.

The room was pleasant enough, but very small and a bit claustrophobic, with a tiny street-level window and a strong artificial fragrance.

I would not recommend this accommodation to light sleepers or anyone sensitive to noise.

Für eine Nacht ist es in Ordnung aber für längere Aufenthalte definitiv nicht geeignet.

Der Eingang und das Mobiliar an sich sieht stimmig aus und der Hof ist ganz schön.

Cons:

Die Räume sind so hellhörig dass wir Nachts öfter dachten da duscht jemand bei uns im Zimmer. Bettlaken wurde bei einer Woche Aufenthalt nicht einmal gewechselt. Die Küche hat keine Elektrogeräte, heist man kann nicht wirklich etwas kochen. Im gemeinsamen Kühlschrank wurden regelmäßig unsere Sachen geklaut. Man verlangt im Hotel 2€ für 2 Kapseln Kaffee und man braucht 2 x 1€ Münzen, sonst gibt es kein Kaffee. Wenn man teilweise solche Preise für ein Zimmer nimmt, sollte wenigstens der Kaffee kostenlos sein. Alles in allem waren wir sehr unzufrieden und würden definitiv nicht nochmal dort übernachten.

Era un pueblo tranquilo con fácil aparcamiento cerca. La cama era muy cómoda y en la cocina había tostadora y cafetera de cápsulas aunque estas había que pagarlas a parte. El aire acondicionado funcionaba bien y refrescaba mucho la habitación.

Cons:

En la habitación no funcionaba el wifi del hotel, de mi habitación ni aparecía el wifi siquiera y tampoco llegaban los datos dentro. Lo comuniqué al alojamiento pero no se solucionó, había que salir al patio para tener datos al menos. Tampoco hay espejo de cuerpo y el del baño es pequeño y está puesto para personas altas porque si no no te ves más que los ojos como me pasó a mí.
Por otro lado, debería haber una cesta por cada habitación en la nevera para guardar tus cosas, cosa que no había y si llegabas y ya estaban ocupadas el resto, te tocaba dejarlo suelto y confiar en la gente. Un día nos cogieron una botella de agua del congelador.
