Please note there is a 1.5% surcharge when you pay with Visa or Mastercard (including debit cards), Apple Pay, American Express, Union Pay and Diners credit card. Payments made with cash, savings or checking accounts are fee-free.

Please note that The Ultimo requires an AUD 50 credit card pre-authorization, or AUD 200 cash or Eftpos deposit upon check in to cover any incidental charges. A credit card pre-authorization is a freeze placed on your account by your financial institution and is not a debit to the account.

Upon check-out, any outstanding balance owed will be confirmed and debited to the card provided. If the balance is zero the full amount will release back to your account within the next 5–7 working days from your financial institution.

Please note that pets can only be accommodated in the Ultimo Courtyard Rooms.

Covid-19 vaccination record requirement applies to all guests aged 16 years and older. No entry to the hotel unless you can provide proof of full vaccination or a medical exemption

Pros:

Great, friendly helpful staff.
Lovely room, quiet, fresh and clean.
Excellent location, close to great resteraunts, Capitol Theatre, Chinatown, paddy's and transport. Parking $38 a day and one block walk.

Cons:

Glad it didn't rain walking from the carpark. But it is Sydney, parking is premium.

Very noisy with minimal facilities.
Pros:

The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was modern and the shower was big.

Cons:

The noise, people out on the street were yelling and screaming throughout the night. In the early morning a garbage truck was parked across the road from the room with its engine on for 2 hours.
There were hardly any power points within reach. I had to use one in the bathroom to put the kettle on and charge my phone. There was no shower cap and no bathroom storage. There was no cupboard for clothes. The TV was cumbersome to use.

Pros:

Nice and clean, free cot provided. Close walking distance to central station, theatre and restaurants. Excellent staff and modern facilities.

Cons:

Only issue was that the shower pressure wasn’t great - otherwise an excellent stay!
