Important information:

Please note there is a 1.5% surcharge when you pay with Visa or Mastercard (including debit cards), Apple Pay, American Express, Union Pay and Diners credit card. Payments made with cash, savings or checking accounts are fee-free.

Please note that The Ultimo requires an AUD 50 credit card pre-authorization, or AUD 200 cash or Eftpos deposit upon check in to cover any incidental charges. A credit card pre-authorization is a freeze placed on your account by your financial institution and is not a debit to the account.

Upon check-out, any outstanding balance owed will be confirmed and debited to the card provided. If the balance is zero the full amount will release back to your account within the next 5–7 working days from your financial institution.

Please note that pets can only be accommodated in the Ultimo Courtyard Rooms.

Covid-19 vaccination record requirement applies to all guests aged 16 years and older. No entry to the hotel unless you can provide proof of full vaccination or a medical exemption

Please note that renovation and maintenance work of the elevators will be carried out from January 14th, 2025 until further notice. During this period, elevators will be unavailable.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Lovely staff and very comfy beds and very affordable.
Pros:

I loved everything about our stay , the staff ,especially Basha and Lachlan ,were extremely supportive and very kind to me and very attentive and helpful. It’s close to everything, the hotel is beautifully and tastefully decorated,very easy to find it and get around anywhere in the city. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Cons:

The only thing I can say against the Ultimo is that the showers have no pressure at all,I didn’t want to wash my hair because I wouldn’t have been able to wash it out due to no pressure with the shower heads. It’s a beautiful looking “rain” shower head but is literally like a light rain.

Great location, close to train station, china town and markets. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed, even though in a central location did not hear outside noise.

It’s a decent hotel for the Sydney prices, I guess…
Pros:

Decent size room, lots of light, well kept

Cons:

Soft bed and extremely soft pillows, and no alternative.
Shower needs a door, water splashes out on the floor even if you’re careful.
