Great experience and found Ryan to be the most helpful employee. Always on hand to help and could not have assisted more. Would highly recommend
Ryan was so great tonight at the bar. I don’t remember the lady name from last night but even the receptionist at the desk was overly nice. I enjoyed the food. It was very tasteful and I enjoyed my time here.
Stayed here for a hockey tournament in January. Facility itself is decent, but the staff is extremely rude and confrontational. After looking at other reviews, several had similar interactions. At least three parents on our team had issues with the people working the front desk. Lines of people waiting to check in while one employee helps and the other employees stand around and chat. Every interaction with the front desk was a huge ordeal. Requests for repairs took several phone calls. I wouldn’t waste your money at this hotel. It’s not worth the headache.
Very nice property, nice bar downstairs and Ryan the bartender is a hoot. Makes a mean Bloody Mary!
I have quite a few thoughts about my stay at this hotel. Upon my arrival, the lobby had an incredibly unpleasant odor—imagine a mix of stagnation and something far worse. Naturally, I asked the staff about it, and they explained that there was an issue with the laundry room that involved some sort of cleaning. While they assured me everything would be fine as long as I was far from that area, it still left a negative impression.
As for my room, it was decent, but the overall cleanliness of the hotel could use some improvement, especially in the corners and crevices. My biggest disappointment, and the reason I wouldn't return, was their pantry concept. They have a designated food area for platinum members, but this means they don't provide breakfast as a complimentary welcome gift for titanium elite members like myself. Breakfast is usually a significant factor in my choice of hotels, and without it, I felt let down.
On a positive note, I did enjoy the bar experience. Ryan, the bartender, was excellent—friendly and attentive, and the kitchen staff was equally pleasant. I ate at the hotel twice, and while the food was satisfactory, it didn’t quite make up for the several shortcomings I encountered.
Additionally, I waited about 10 minutes for someone to assist me during check-in, which was frustrating, especially in that unpleasant-smelling lobby. While the hotel might be a good spot for dining and drinks, I cannot recommend it for an overnight stay, as it clearly needs some improvements.
Our experience was amazing, the hotel was very clean and matched the pictures and description perfectly. But, what made it even better was Ryan the server behind the bar, he was outstanding even with how much was going on. He didn’t let the stress stop him and he still took care of everyone around the bar!
We came here for a nice night with our hockey team and family and we got pizza and hanged out.and one of the great things was the server Ryan he was so great and funny so shoutout to Ryan
Ryan at Delta was amazing. Worked hard and very accommodating to our large party. Very grateful. He helped us set up our tables and was quick to assist when needing something.
Ryan was an excellent bartender/server, good food and great drinks in a friendly environment with sports on screens everywhere. Highly recommend.
Ryan kept our huge party taken care of from beginning to end. The food was superb and the drinks were plentiful. Great dude to talk to.
Ryan makes an amazing old fashioned
Kind and attentive staff all around.
Don't want to get too into it but the non working electric charging station was a bit of a pain. With that note out of the way, 5 stars hands down for Ryan the fantastic bartender here at the lobby bar. He along with the atmosphere (and drinks!) he created made my trip. First time to Jax, only two nights and for work, solo. He made excellent recommendations to fit some of the things I already had planned.
Ryan the bar tend was great! I ate there four nights because of good service and great food, always professional
I liked the updated amenities and the check in experience. Also the bathroom was very large and clean. Having a large roll-up vanity and super bright mirror and roll-in shower was really nice to have, especially when it comes to ADA compliance.
The bed was lacking any sort of bed bug cover, I don’t know if this was a sign of confidence on their part, but it made me feel skeptical. Also, the towels felt like sandpaper. I kind of expected more on that front, but I only had to use them once, so I can live. Finally there seemed to be a shortage of electrical outlets. My wife and I had to move our respective night stands in order to find a bedside outlet for our phones, otherwise, the nearest outlets to the bed was on the opposite side of the room.
Ryan is amazing. I travel to Jacksonville every couple of months and he always remembers my name and what I normally drink. He always checks though to make sure if that’s what I want that day in particular lol. His margaritas are absolutely delicious!
We came into town from Orlando late (and hungry) for a volleyball tournament. Ryan at the restaurant took great care of us and made us feel like we were at our home away from home. He also provided expedited service so we could get to bed and be up for our first 7am game. I had never stayed at a Delta before, but the hotel was clean and decorated beautifully. 10/10 experience!!
