Renaissance Charlotte SouthPark Hotel

Clean. Staff. Amenities.

We stayed for two nights. The rooms were very clean and fit our needs perfectly. Everyone was very friendly, especially Riziki in the restaurant.
The location was perfect, right next door to our favorite restaurant!
Unfortunately the club lounge was under construction during visit. I wish we had known this at the time of our reservations. We would have chosen a different room.

I had a great stay at this location. The restaurant was tasty with excellent service by all including Riziki who greeted with a smile in the morning. I’m looking forward to my next stay here!

Riziki did an amazing job with our breakfast at the restaurant in the lobby! We were there for work and came in and took over one of the larger tables and our team kept rotating in and out. Riziki had a never ending table for maybe an hour. She got all of orders right and the food was amazing

I have been coming to Charlotte, NC for business on and off for the past seven years. I originally chose the Renaissance Charlotte Southpark because I’m a Marriott Bonvoy member and it was within walking distance to my company’s office. But I continue to choose the hotel for the people. I want to give a special shout out to Miss Riziki, who works in the restaurant. She is such a nice and friendly and thoughtful person. The last time I was here was almost two years ago. I like to get the same thing for breakfast, and on the 2nd morning of my most recent stay she brought out my drink without asking because she remembered me from my last time here. She also asked me if the was something wrong with the potatoes that came with my breakfast because I didn’t eat them the day before. I told her no, just didn’t like them for breakfast. So she asked if there was some thing else I would like instead. I asked if they had any pineapple because they used to include a variety of fruit with the breakfast I always order. She said she wasn’t sure, but she would check. A few minutes later she came back with some fresh pineapple. This was such a nice touch and we started talking and she told me how she remembered me from my previous trip and that I ordered the same thing each morning. She could not believe that it had been almost two years since the last time I had stayed with them. There are a lot of hotel options, including other Marriott properties, in this area, but it is because of the friendly people like Miss Riziki that I continue to choose to stay at the Renaissance Southpark.

Decided to grab a drink and a bite, and Riziki was extremely nice, making me feel very appreciated. We need more people like Riziki!

The staff are friendly and helpful. The room is very clean. The fitness center has good equipment. Will stay here again.

Fun hotel. Clean, with attentive staff. Nice gym area and pool, too. The restaurant and bar area are very nice, also with attentive staff. Had Riziki as a server for breakfast. She was very pleasant and had my meal out very quickly.

I've stayed here many times over the years. This was an unexpected trip. Paige provided outstanding customer service. I was scrambling to extend my visit and she really helped.

Riziki was very accommodating and greeting all the elite members. Food was good and a good variety of options. Very clean and welcoming room.
