Not the best experience
Pros:

Not the best experience. Stayed with my husband and 7 year old child while visiting family. I booked a room with a couch pull out bed so my daughter could sleep there. No extra linens in the room so had to call. Front desk said they’d drop off in 10 mins. 30 mins later nothing. Husband had to go down to get them. This was about 10pm.

Then we pulled out the couch bed. It was honestly the worst I’ve ever seen before. Dirty, thin and felt like the springs would poke through any second. Not fit for anyone to sleep on! By this time it was pretty late so we all ended up sharing the big bed.

We showered, but there were only 2 sets of towels and had to share. Also, something spilled in the little fridge from a previous person that was overlooked and not cleaned.

We only stayed one night and really all I want in a one night hotel stay is a clean room, warm shower with towels and comfortable beds. Well, it didn’t really deliver.

The food was standard hotel breakfast. Hotel is very close to the airport and freeway to kings canyon/sequoia (why we chose to stay there). It’s on a main street so a bit noisy. I didn’t hear planes, but a few loud cars driving by that woke me up despite ear plugs and a sound machine.

Overall, 2 star stay and more than likely wouldn’t book again.

Nice hotel with comfortable, clean room, friendly staff and good breakfast.
Pros:

Nice breakfast, pool area and comfortable bed. We weren't staying there because of its location near the airport; it was a stop to rest overnight from our 8-9 hour drive from Northern Cal. We were pleasantly surprised and decided to stay there, both drives to and from Los Angeles area.

Too many homeless people
Pros:

Convenient location…just off the airport terminal in Fresno

Cons:

Next to the railroad tracks (nothing you can do about it)
A homeless person stomping into the tlobby cursing around us and other patrons(kids included)…cursing at staff.

My wife and a travel quite a bit, this was our 2nd experience in California (once in Fullerton), never in other states (Arkansas, Kentucky, Florida, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Kansas and Ohio.
We were in Fresno for our Granddaughter college graduation.
Lot of homeless people in the area
