The room was pretty
They said our room was ready, but if we wanted to check in early, we had to pay a lot extra on top of what we already paid. We went ahead and did that and there was construction right outside our door so despite paying the extra money to get some rest, we were not able to get any rest. We went into the bar/restaurant and nobody served us when I asked about it. They said they switched to a self-service . I had to ask three times where I could get a menu and then I just gave up an Uber to an actual restaurant with service. When I checked out, nobody asked how our day was or anything.
The property was beautiful. There was no restaurant on site, it’s being renovated. The staff provided inconsistent information throughout our visit and even before.
Location.
The location was perfect. We were in Long Beach for a cruise and we stayed an extra night before going home.
With all the open air theme they have it's very nice and pretty, but voices carry kids playing/screaming outside in the parking lot after dark and door slams echo. We were there on a night they were doing Prom and and hosting an event - which we were no aware of, so I'm sure that played some part.
The view was nice and so was the room but the charges for stuff we didn’t get and after calling and confirming several times before hand we STILL got charged TWICE!
The main issue I had is that they are quick to charge you for something you NEVER RECEIVED like an early check in and late checkout, but can’t seem to give back the deposit for the room. I booked may 1-2 and I STILL have yet to receive my deposit back after calling and talking to several people over 6 times! It is now May 29th and still nothing. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!
It was a beautiful hotel
There’s no longer a breakfast even though it was on the site when I booked it. Also it’s $45 a night for parking which is also not mentioned.
Their restaurant was under renovations so we could only eat out side.
Everything. The aesthetic is so perfect
I will say the food was overpriced but it’s expected from a place like this.
Location as we were going on a cruise the next day. Shuttle to port was a bonus.
Nothing I didn’t like.
Everything. Literally everything. This is the spot if you are in the area. I don’t say this lightly.
Pulling into the place, there is plenty of parking, and it’s clear where to check in. The guy at the front desk (whose name I will find and add to this when I’m there next) not only is efficient, he is simply just kind.
I’ve stayed in 3 different rooms at this hotel, and they all were 100% clean, quiet, and beautiful view of the harbor.
I even used the gym there, and it’s better than my regular gym.
The maintenance guy went out of his way to say hello.
The beds are soft, clean, and feel relatively new.
I’ve stayed at many hotels across this country and I would put this spot as one of the top places I’ve spent time with. Especially for the rate of the room.
I honestly can’t think of anything
The view
The being charged 3x and double the deposit no call back and very unhappy
Location was good beautiful view
The Fuego restaurant was under construction and the hookah lounge which was disappointing and the parking rates per day were high some of the staff at the pool area were kind of rude and there were incidents involving police and a lady bleeding from her head
