I stayed here in April 2023. This hotel was very average and nothing spectacular. Some staff were very helpful, some were very rude. I cannot comment on the pool as I was too busy to try it out, but it was essentially empty our entire stay despite the 80 degrees warm weather. The cleanliness was awful, our bath was moldy and falling apart essentially. Location was very convenient. However, do not rely on the airport transfer. We waited for 3 hours and it never arrived. We ended up getting on a different transfer who luckily allowed us to get on and then we had to walk over to the correct hotel. We arrived in the states for the first time ever, with no phone service to call an Uber, and the transfer let us down.
I stayed here for five nights while attending an event. The hotel was very comfortable with large rooms and a good sized bathroom. I didn't use the bar but it looked nice! I spent the morning before flying home by the pool, which was a strange experience being from Britain as it was February!
Really poor hotel. Disappointing start to our holiday.
The corridors and rooms were tattered and very dark and dingy. The rooms were overpriced. They had the balls to charge over $50 per night to park after charging $150 per night per room. Breakfast was a scam. When you arrived at breakfast they asked you if you had a voucher which made the breakfast cheaper, but had not been offered at check in. Only ate the breakfast once. The beer was about $16 each and the bar seemed to open whenever they could be bothered.
The pool area was nice and the location was decent for accessing LA by car.
Otherwise, dreadful.
I arrived on April 26th 2025 from Scotland for a 4 night stay only to find that the hotel was closed down, I booked it through Booking.com and no one from there ever contacted me about the closure, also no refund from them, lost 500usd and then had to find another hotel for my 4 night stay at a further cost of 800usd.Found it all pretty shocking
Upon arrival there was a sign on the door saying the hotel was closed. No explanation or attempt to contact me was made. In hindsight from reading other reviews it seems this hotel has been closed or planning on closing for awhile, thus making it completely inexcusable that no one informed me. I was dropped off, in the dark, alone, and forced to find a nearby hotel for a much more expensive rate. Do not waste your time and money with this place!!
DON’T BOOK THIS HOTEL
I booked hotel thru our airline Qantas only to arrive at the hotel after a 15 hour flight to closed doors and learning later that it’s been closed for a number of weeks. After contacting Marriott call centre they could not explain why hotel was closed, they offered us another hotel of cause at a much higher rate to original booking
The worst part experience I had with a hotel in my entire life! No staff onsite, manager that attended was so rude and mentioned the hotel was closing down. No wifi, no service, all amenities closed and transfer from hotel to airport was not available! I got lost at the hotel, stuck in an elevator and was treated rudely. I would recommend hotels.com to review their accommodations and remove from the options!
They are closing the hotel nothing more to say
Hotel is going out of business. Wish I knew when booking. Receptionist was extremely kind and cancelled our stay for us once we realized we couldn’t eat there and hotel wasn’t to the standard we paid for. She Even offered to help us find a new hotel. When we originally booked room we needed convenient shuttle to airport. At check in there was a sign that they no longer offer shuttle service and Restuarant was shut down for good. The place looked run down and no staff (besides receptionist) or visitors were seen. Closing date of hotel is April we were told. Don’t recommend.
I was super disappointed in the stay. The rooms were so old and sad. Check in was sub par. And the shuttle service to and from the airport pretty much shouldn’t exist. We weren’t even able to catch the shuttle from the airport to the hotel because the bus was always full. We will never stay or park at this hotel again.
Hoel based shuttle service to airport was suspended so no free transport to airport.
Old and run down. No longer airport transportation
We had been told about the lack of shuttle to LAX only a few days before arrival by Expedia. we had booked months before in order to secure a good rate and by the time we were told of the change other close by hotels were now more expensive. The hotel announced the change on 24th Feb but Expedia delayed notifying us. There were no restaurant facilities in the hotel so we had to walk to a neighbouring hotel. The hotel advised us to use their taxi calling button in the lobby saying it would take 10-15 mins to arrive. The next morning we waited in the lobby for 20 mins with no sign of a taxi so we had to call an Uber.
The previous night we tried to watch TV but there was no signal. We had to chase reception to get this confirmed. Has the hotel stopped paying the bills?
We now are decidely unhappy with the Sherraton /Marriott group and will be escalating this complaint with them and Expedia!
Estela Estrada with another guy(she knows who) went above and beyond with our conference yesterday with California all titles conference. I had to leave to a site and she didn’t hesitate to pack me my lunch to go and was friendly and attentive with all staff .
Thank you! You make our experience enjoyable to return

No refund for no-show based on airline cancellations.
Showed up and no one at the front desk. Had to ask a security guard to find someone. Checked in - both phone and TV didn’t work in room. Tried to call front desk from our cell phones, no answer several times. Son forgot toothbrush, tried to order a dental kit but no reply on Marriott app, front desk, etc.
The desk staff says this hotel is closing. The hotel no longer has a shuttle so I had to pay for two cab rides. The pub is closed so no food. Those were the two reasons I selected this hotel and I thought Sheraton was a safe bet for an airport overnight between flights.
Close to airport.. staff is above and beyond
Parking was inconvenient and high.
The hotel is closing down. No shuttle service and no food or breakfast places.
