Mount Nevis Hotel

The whole experience was just like the hotel. Relaxed, elegant and inviting. I thought the food was spectacular as well as the service. Something seems to set it all apart here. Perhaps it’s the new pizza oven from Italy, or the true effort to deliver a good meal (which happened at every meal). Food was one of the highlights and always calm not far from the pool.

Service was always friendly and fast. Highly recommend.

We stayed here Feb. 2026 and it was spectacular. We appreciated all the attention to detail in their property. We loved the beautiful view of Mount Nevis, the comfortable lounge chairs and hammocks around the pool, the room amenities including comfortable bed, in-room safe, comfy robes, small fridge and nice bathroom and a deck off of our room. There is peaceful and calming vibe throughout the property. The food at their restaurant was delicious and the staff throughout was excellent, friendly and attentive. Can’t wait to come back again next year.

I hate to overstate things. I'm a New Yorker! But I have to tell you, my friend has never seen me "do nothing" and love it - anywhere. Paradise feels cliche. It's more than a vacation or break, it's a retreat. Everything about the Mount Nevis Hotel was superb! The rooms are clean and cheerful with gorgeous, to-die-for, views. The bed (yes, going there) -- was the best and I slept so well. The staff is beyond friendly and let me tell you, it's been a LONG time since the management and owner took the time to greet us and check in with us just the right amount of times. The food was great. The atmosphere, perfect. Peace and well-being, sense of safe/security (not that it was needed -- just good to know as I'm an "older" traveler). Great guests (iinteresting!). I'll never stay any place else on Nevis.

PS I posted a beach photo. The Hotel is not on the beach but that lovely deserted beach is a 7 minute walk down a nice driveway where monkeys might run in front of you just to give you a show!

Absolutely wonderful and incredible view. Rooms have a porch or balcony. We had a beautiful view of the mountains in St. Kitts as well as the ocean from our room as well as the large pool. The volcano can be seen behind. The buildings are spacious, well-appointed and immaculately clean. The bed , as well as the furniture comfortable and in excellent shape. Even the pool chairs were comfortable. Meals are served from breakfast to dinner. The food is good , as well as the service . All of the staff and management are extremely helpful and welcoming. There is a dirt road which is 1/4 mile which is good for jogging as well as a gym. Definitely coming back!

Our family of 5 adults had an wonderful and relaxing vacation at the Mt Nevis Hotel for the week of New Years. The setting is gorgeous and well cared for and the view is spectacular. The restaurant serves delicious food and we especially enjoyed the homemade pizza made in their outdoor pizza oven. The NYE celebration was relaxed elegance and the dinner was spectacular. Best of all was the kind and attentive staff lead by Noreen and Christina. We loved the island of Nevis. The people there are so warm and welcoming, the beaches are lovely and we always felt safe and relaxed.
We can't wait to return!

We had such a wonderful stay! The staff were welcoming and very helpful, the food on the restaurant is delicious and we really enjoyed the pool. We had a lovely spacious room which had stunning views and it felt like paradise walking up to these views everyday. Travelling with small children can always be stressful but the staff were so kind to our children and helped us to feel they were very welcome. The room had a small kitchen which was very useful for making up snacks for the children. I would love to come back and would definitely recommend!!

We spent a week in Nevis over the Christmas holiday and the highlight of our trip was the Mount Nevis Hotel. It is an oasis of calm and natural beauty. The surroundings are spectacular as are the views. The hotel and rooms are exquisite and clean and the staff and owner are gracious and thoughtful. The food is wonderful and a reason to stop and sample on it's own. Highly recommend.

We stayed at Mount Nevis Hotel for a week and it was an absolutely beautiful experience from start to finish. The views are stunning, the location is peaceful and lush, and the staff are genuinely amazing; warm, attentive, and incredibly accommodating in a way that feels personal rather than scripted. It is a family-owned boutique hotel, and that care and pride truly show in every detail. We are thrilled that we chose Mount Nevis Hotel over a ‘brand name’ resort.

Our room was comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully laid out, with a beautiful patio that we used every day. The dining experience by the pool and the food was wonderful. Other guests during our stay consisted of couples of different ages, extended families, and a group of older women. This created a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that never felt crowded or chaotic. If you are looking for a “calmcation” this is the perfect choice.

Beyond the hotel itself, the people of Nevis are truly lovely. Nevis is not the place for someone looking for a typical Caribbean vacation with beaches lined by resort after resort. We explored well beyond the hotel, taking in daily life on the island, local beaches, food, and scenery. That freedom and authenticity made the trip incredibly special.

A heartfelt thank you to Noreen and all of her staff for creating such a memorable stay. It was a genuinely beautiful experience, and we can’t wait to return!!

Great place to stay on Nevis a great hideaway

Amazing. Just finished three days and two nights here. We're off season, so there were only a few other people staying here, which means we got the best of both worlds. Pool almost to ourselves. Great attention from the staff and chef. Nothing could have made our stay here better. We'll be back as soon as we can. I don't write a lot of reviews, but wanted others to know how great it is here.

What made it amazing? First, the reality is exactly like the photos. The view--the same. The pool--the same. The nice deck chairs and tables--the same. The room decor and quality--the same. And there are many more beautiful views around the property. Yes, the main view of St. Kitts is amazing, but I would just swim around the pool or walk around it taking in all the views. To the west is an almost-vertical forested ridge that leads to Mount Nevis. I've added a few photos just to confirm that the website's photos match the experience.

In the pool, you can stand in the cool water (with a drink if you so choose--they have a bar right by the pool) and take in the views. There is also a bit more breeze up here than down on the leeward beaches, which is perfect to keep you cool. It also means it's quiet, which we prefer.

The restaurant is amazing. Really, really good. Nevis is underrated for food, as there are some other good restaurants on the island, but our best meal was at the Mount Nevis Hotel restaurant. Left a review there as well for more detail.

Everyone who works here is great and accessible if you need anything, but also give you your space to enjoy your quiet time yourselves. Couldn't ask for more.

We took the 20 minute walk down to Drift for lunch one day, which was nice as well.

We'll be coming back. We spent our first two days in Nevis at a beach resort. It was nice, but next time we'll spend longer here. You can always take a taxi for ~$15 down to the various beach restaurants (Chrishi Beach, Luna, etc.) near Oualie Beach which will let you use their beach chairs and beach if you buy drinks/food. Plenty of car parking if you have a rental.

We had a lovely lunch in a beautiful garden setting. You aren't on the beach but have a beautiful ocean view. Our lunch salads were wonderful as were our drinks. We weren't staying property but were told we could come back to enjoy their pool if we wished. Wow, what a lovely gesture. When you visit the Cottle church don’t miss stopping here for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

One night wasnt enough! But I will be back. The whole team was amazing! Kuddos to Norren, Erika, Kim and the other staff. The food was delicious, the rum punch was amazing. The room was gorgeous and peaceful. Everything in the room felt comfortable such as the bed (i loved the suprised decoration), rob,pillows etc. I had a lovely time at this resort and i do look forward to back soon.

Quiet, comfortable hotel with Nevisian charm. Beautiful setting and view of the ocean and St Kitts from three sliders that lead to two porches in each room. Many high end amenities including excellent restaurant, lounge and large swimming pool. Classy hotel in every way!

This is a charming hotel. The rooms are traditional, with some modern upgrades (the TV has a US Roku - a good choice for US visitors, although unfortunately it doesn't really work for UK visitors).

The staff were all friendly and helpful. Ample parking outside the rooms.

There is no buffet breakfast, and unfortunately the breakfast options are quiet expensive (approx US$70 for two people, which is a bit excessive for a simple breakfast).

The pool, while short, has a spectacular view and is a lovely place to sunbathe.

On balance, I would strongly recommend this hotel to my friends.

Absolute paradise. Boutique charm with insane views and old-skool hospitality. This place rocks. Felt like a proper escape once we settled into this hotel. The pool takes center stage and sits like an eagle’s nest atop of Nevis. Four days flew by looking out across the channel to St Kitts as lovely staff delivered super strong cocktails and the freshest local seafood to our loungers. It’s chilled and seems to attract a fun, quirky mix of international guests. Loved every minute xx Oh and let’s not forget the family of cute tiny monkeys munching on the fruit trees! Check it out!

We love this place! The grounds are very spacious with plenty of decorative plants and fruit trees. Great views from all sides make it hard to look away. Plenty of chairs by the pool with a walk up bar just steps away. The staff and food were excellent, all of our meals there were cooked to perfection. Thanks to the staff for a memorable visit

Mt. Nevis hotel is the perfect place to find rest, relaxation, amazing hospitality and food, and incredibe weather and views. I will definitly be returning with more family. The property is expansive with many charming, clean and bright units throughout. There is even a large immaculate private family sized villa with its own pool and all modern ammenities. Perfect for a family reunion, bachelorette party or wedding. The staff was amazing and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. We tried many local restaurants, but found the Mt Nevis Hotel restaurant was the best! I highly recommend the fish tacos, breakfast burrito and specially curated cheesecake made by their onsite pastry chef. The mango and sorrel cheesecakes were to die for!

What an amazing place!! Our first trip there and we stayed a week, I was with my two nieces who live in England (I'm in Rochester NY). Such a beautiful spot, most wonderful views, very comfortable accommodation, great food and wonderful service. Noreen and her staff did everything they could to make this is a great stay. Such serenity, but no difficulty getting everywhere we wanted in a short drive. We rented a car from Hertz and it was waiting when we got off the Water Taxi. We particularly enjoyed the local animals ---- saw a small herd of donkeys, monkeys, mongooses, different birds, and we sometimes heard a cow mooing.... Very much looking forward to another visit --- I think I can even persuade my husband (who really seldom wants to leave home) to come with me, after the photos and descriptions I showed him. Wonderful place!

Mount Nevis hotel is set in a beautiful location overlooking St Kitts and the channel between Nevis and St. Kitts.
The staff is excellent and friendly and accommodating.
The rooms have a beautiful view and are clean.
There are some things that can use an update, the sliders don’t slide easily and a lose tile on the patio here or there.
That said we would go back in a heartbeat
