Location was good
Hotel did not cater for the extreme heat conditions, did not have air con and did not have enough fans for the guests. The hotel was fully booked, only received a fan the next day and it made a very loud noise when it rotated, seems like it was not serviced.
Shower gel in the dispenser ran out. This was mounted in the shower and was cleay not filled nor checked before guests arrive.
Location was very convenient
The room got a bit hot in then morning and the shower water pressure wasn’t the best
Fantastic experience, customer service is excellent. Will stay again! Thank you
Nothing. Close to beach. All good.
Its location
It could do with Air condition
Didn't eat here but coffee/tea making facilities in room, which was topped up everyday. Bedding, room, shower all clean. Beautiful building in a good location for the beach and main town, only 10/15 minute walk. Staff very accommodating.
Bar open till 11pm instead of 10pm
Very clean and tidy and staff are very friendly
Bien placé mais dans une rue calme. Le personnel s’est montres très coopératif et sympathique.
La literie un peu vieillissante
We recently spent 3 nights at Runnymede Court and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit, The Manager and her staff were friendly and very helpful. Our ensuite room was quiet and faced the hotel's rear garden, there was very little traffic noise. Bedroom and bathroom were spotless, shower pressure was good and beds were comfortable - we slept very well. There was ample space in our bedroom for anyone working away from home to be comfortable, Breakfast was plentiful with a good choice - my partner's cooked breakfast was declared 'Very good'.
The Runnymede's location was ideal for us - just a 5 minute walk from the hotel to the sandy beach and pier, and 8 minutes walk to St Helier town centre with it's attractive traditional market, restaurants and bus station. The lovely Howard Park and cafe is just a few minutes walk from the hotel.
Public transport was good, there are several bus stops within 5 minutes walk of the hotel. Some buses running on the sea front near the Runnymede go to the ancient Mont Orgueil Castle, just 15 minutes away. Fascinating history and highly recommended if you don't mind some stone stair case climbing.
Our boat home left in the evening so we very much appreciated being able to store our luggage at The Runnymede whilst we enjoyed our last day.
We're planning our next visit......
