City Hotel Nattergalen Apartments

Staff greet us at each visit, very friendly and helpful. Kitchen is well stocked with plates, cups, flatware and enough pans and utensils. Toaster/oven would be a nice addition. Few electrical outlets for modern times but adequate.

A fine very large open apartment, with a bedroom and toilet.
The living room an kitchen, was a nice space to hang out for our friends.

A few things that could be better. We had booked for 4 people, but was missing a sheet for the sleeping sofa, and the thin mattres was quite disgusting.

The windows didnt take much of the noise from the streets just outside, specielly during the night (friday night) it was really noisy.

Before leaving you need to clean up the kitchen and do the dishes, and empty the dishwasher.
Would have been a good service to just start the dishwasher before leaving/checking out

Beliggenhed er fantastisk I starten af hovedgaden.
Spisesteder og drinks muligheder inden for 5-7 minutters gang
City bus som kører i ring gratis til seværdigheder i byen ligger også inden for 4 min gang.
Eneste problem var vandtrykket i bruser
Parkering var muligt ved selve hotellet til billig pris.
Vi valgte morgen buffet på selve hotellet og det var alle pengene værd

Vi bodde i lägenhet mitt på gågatan perfekt läge för att promenera till allt.

All in all, fantastic apartment for the price and I would be happy book this again for my next longer stay in Odense. It's spatious, nicely decorated, functional, well-equipped and cosy. This was perfect, apart from a few small negatives: 1) Something about the bathroom plumbing system isn't ideal. The floor has some vent connected to the building system and there's a terrible odor filling the bathroom at random times. In good weather I could just open a window, but in winter this would be a bigger issue. 2) While the central location is great, I was surprised about the noise level at night coming through the bedroom windows. The hotel kindly provides some earplugs without asking, but on Friday night these were insufficient to deal with all the drunk shouting people on the street and it was difficult to find any sleep. Of course I realize that the hotel can hardly be blamed for this, but it's still relevant to know about this location if you prefer the quiet.

Very central location. However, no air condition and so the noise from the street was a bit loud due to the open windows.

High and narrow stairs up to rooms that were boringly decorated. Extremely hot because you couldn't open the skylight and let the heat out. Only one electrical outlet for each bed, where the hotel staff was too lazy to plug in the reading lights. I had to crawl under one of the beds to do it myself. I had to pick up (and then leave) the key to the room in the main building, which was 400 meters away in another part of the city center. However, the location of the apartment was good in the middle of the city.

The apartment was nice, with a lot of windows and centrally located. Not ideal place to stay if you have a car. Right next to a bar where people were loud and yelling till about 0500. We slept terribly. Closing the windows did nothing to keep out the noise. It was also very hot inside, without air conditioning. The shampoo and conditioner bottles were empty.

Selve indretningen af værelset/lejligheden var rigtig fin. Men i virkelig dårlig stand. Ved det ene vindue har rullegardinet kun i det ene hængsel. Rengøringen var elendig og der var meget larm fra gaden.

Spacious apartment right in pedestrian area with nearby restaurants and sites. Perfect!

Lejligheden trænger til hjælp! Meget Slidte gardiner der gør at hele lejligheden er lyst op så snart solen står op(der mangler gardin i skråvinduet), lurvet gulvtæppe i opgang og selve lejligheden, og en del af vinduerne er rådne og utætte, hvilket gør at alt støj fra gaden ryger lige ind i lejligheden.
Derudover er der dårlig lugt i lejligheden, hvilket gjorde at vi måtte lufte kraftigt ud i ca 20 min inden luften var tålelig.

It was a beautiful apartment in the city centre. It was a well equipped kitchen with all utilities we as a family needed. Nice furniture and the beds were comfortable. There was a TV with many channels. Clean bathroom with a shower and many fluffy towels. The service we received from the staff when we checked in was very useful. We could also park the car in the back of the hotel for a smaller payment.

Skønt ophold lige midt i byen tæt på alt hvad man skal bruge, når man rejser med børn.

Der var virkelig meget larm fra gade og den café som ligger lige ned uder lejligheden !

Dejlig hotel lejlighed. Ligger lige ved gågaden, så man kan tydeligt høre nå¨r der snakkes nede på gaden.
Lejligheden havde alle nødvendige ting.
Venligt personale ved indtjekningen, som foregik på selve hotellet.
Ligger i gå afsaten fra de mest populære ting i Odense centrum.

The fkat was huge and therefore tookma while to warm up. Apart from that it was brilliant and great location.

Super hyggelig lejlighed, der var pænt og rent alle steder, lige bortset fra noget af servicen og gryderne i køkkenet.
Skal vi til Odense igen, vil vi helt klart gerne bo samme sted igen.
