Pros:

Lage mitten in Rhens, Bäcker ein paar Meter entfernt, empfehlenswerter Gasthof gleich gegenüber.

Pros:

Das Appartement war leider für jemanden mit knapp 2 Meter etwas beschwerlich. Eine sehr schmale Stiege ins Dachgeschoss. Der Eingang zur Dusche sehr niedrig. Der Zugang zum Balkon ebenfalls. Das Zimmer war im Januar sehr kalt und auch mit Heizung nicht wirklich warm zu bekommen. Die Mitbewohner waren leider lange recht gut zu hören und die Gerüche aus der Küche zogen ins Zimmer. Manchmal hat man kein Glück und dann kommt noch Pech dazu.

Very cute boutique hotel if you want to stay at a quiet area that's a train ride away from Konstanz. The rooms are very nice and we got the room with the balcony. There are very steep and narrow stairs to go to the room so keep that in mind if you have mobility issues and a lot of luggage. Staff is very friendly and check in was a breeze. Parking is free but a little far from the hotel itself, but still walkable.

Pros:

Lovely flat, fantastic balcony, great shared kitchen area, superb location.

Cons:

Getting the keys from the reception desk across the road at the hotel. They kind of treat you in a slightly derogatory manner as you are not a hotel guest. A bit Bavarian in terms of gastfreundlichkeit, don’t expect the red carpet. The flat itself is great though 👍.

Very comfortable beds, AC worked well, Washer and dryer.
Pros:

There's a washer and dryer in the cellar below we could use to do laundry. There's a garage with a key to store our bikes. AC worked very well, and beds were very comfortable. Be sure to try the sushi place that just opened up across the street called Umami.

Cons:

Was a bit confusing getting the keys from the hotel across the street, but all was sorted in short order. Also took a while to find out the washer and dryer as they are not in the unit, but in a cellar accessed from outside the building. Both very minor issues that were sorted quickly.

Lovely place to stay on the Rhine
Pros:

In the centre of quiet picturesque Rhens on the Rhine river with a fully-equipped communal kitchen and comfortable rooms

Cons:

No lift - so maybe not ideal for restricted travellers
