Pros:

The area outside isn’t glamorous, but when you inside these enormous wooden doors, it’s incredibly impressive how they used fauna to create a truly unique atmosphere. What I REALLY liked was walking a block towards the water and there was an incredibly charming street of endless restaurants and cafe’s which contrasts the main road through town and the hoity toity-ness of the high end hotel scene. It felt super comfortable and I am VERY glad I stayed at this hotel.

Pros:

Very charming hotel. Upon arrival we decided to upgrade to one of the lofts, which was almost twice the size of our room. Considering the price difference it was a no-brainer.
The staff has been very helpful with plenty of useful information for our stay.
We visited different areas of Tulum, because we were also looking for some land to buy, and La Veleta has been the by far the best neighborhood we tried. We had a good feeling of safety at all hours, reason why we indulged in several walks to bars and restaurants. For those like us who are into yoga, the hotel is 5 minutes away from a very famous holisitc center.
