Location is perfect, I have family down the road. I'm here quite frequently and I enjoy the staff. I'm disappointed to here Mai will no longer be here, but I wish her grand adventures wherever she's headed. They've started having a social hour in the evenings on Tues and Wednesday with free beer and Nachos or Frito pie. I enjoyed that. The rooms are always clean. I will be back!!
Convenient. Clean.
Expensive stay.
Pool was broken the nights/days we stayed.
It’s on a busier Friday night race strip for motorcycles. It quiets down but for about an hour lots of revving. (Out of hotels control-just saying)
The beds were very uncomfortable and in poor condition. Bedding was old and discolored. Do not recommend.
I was very disappointed with our stay at this property. Based on our experience, the hotel appears to have significant issues with cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service.
The room showed numerous signs of wear and neglect. There were stains on the bedding and linens, damaged furniture, chipped paint, scuffed walls, and several fixtures that appeared old or in need of repair. It looked like maintenance had been put off for quite some time. Whoever is responsible for inspecting and approving rooms before guests check in is not doing a thorough job, because many of these issues should have been noticed and addressed.
The bathroom was especially concerning. There appeared to be grime and buildup around the bathtub and shower, stained surfaces, deteriorating caulking, and worn fixtures. The sink and vanity also looked dated and poorly maintained, making the bathroom feel unclean.
The flooring and carpets were heavily worn, with noticeable stains and discoloration. The sheets felt old, rough, and worn out. They did not feel fresh, and they gave us the impression that they may not have been changed before our arrival. Whether that was actually the case or not, they certainly did not feel clean or comfortable enough to give us confidence in the room's cleanliness.
Breakfast on **July 7, 2026**, was another major disappointment. The food that was supposed to be served hot was cold, and we actually had to take our breakfast back to our room and microwave it ourselves. That is not something guests should have to do.
While we were there, another guest told us he had been waiting in the breakfast area since 5:30 a.m. and that the general manager, who was responsible for preparing breakfast that morning, did not arrive until around 5:45 a.m. As a result, breakfast service was delayed.
Unfortunately, the service only made the experience worse. The general manager was not welcoming or friendly. I never heard her greet any guests with a "good morning." Instead, she came across as rude, had a poor attitude, and gave the impression that she did not want to be there. Hospitality starts with customer service, and this experience fell well below expectations.
Between the poor condition of the room, the cleanliness and maintenance issues, the breakfast experience, and the unfriendly service, this stay was extremely disappointing. We will not be returning to this location, and I hope management takes these concerns seriously by improving housekeeping, room inspections, maintenance, and customer service so future guests have a much better experience
At times rooms are only half clean with old sheets and comforters, tables still have fingerprints, grease, and leftover food in the fridge. Management is nowhere to be found, and front desk is mischievous. The restrooms have stained towels, but look and smell clean as far as I know. All of the staff ladies or housekeepers seem nice and beautiful, however, it seems like there are a lot of people hanging out or rooms are overcrowded, and loud. SmI seen a lot of cigarette buds outside as well.
Worst Hilton property stay - ever! Received a Hilton Hhonors "upgrade", as a Gold member. Checked into assigned room (#208), found doorframe contorted because of structural damage to floor. Cracked floor tile and heaving, resulting in trip hazard. Returned to clerk, to inquire. Staff indicated knew about the damage, placed in room, anyway. Said hotel due for an innovation. Was not placed in another room. Overnight, found bugs crawling in the bathroom. Provided hotel staff in photos, taken on my phone. Complained to GM, who said would restore all Honors points for stay, to my Hilton Honors account. Returned home, found only 2000 of 40,000 points credited to my account. I will not stay at this property again. Complained to Hilton.
Great staff, very friendly!
Rooms smell was a little but weird, but overall was clean.
The beds were awfull
Located right next to the mall and surrounded by restaurants. The front desk staff was great with suggestions on were to go eat. Pamela the GM was very helpful when I needed to extend my reservation due to the icy roads. Breakfast was delicious and the hot coffee was fresh every time I came to get a cup. I will be back.
I stayed at this Hampton Inn in Abilene, TX, for 2 nights. Everything was perfect, from the friendly staff to the comfortable beds. The room was very clean, warm on freezing nights, and extremely comfortable. I will definitely be back again.
Great location, front staff lady Mai, was so friendly.
Bed was alittle hard but still not to bad.
friendly staff
I had a really disappointing stay at this Hampton Inn. Breakfast was late every morning by 15–30 minutes, it tasted old, and they served the same thing two days in a row. The front desk supervisor smelled like cannabis, and the rooms were old, smelly, and run down. There was even mold in my room, which made the stay feel unhealthy and unsafe. When I checked out, I had to wait five minutes before the supervisor finally came from the back. Honestly, this building either needs a full renovation or to be demolished and rebuilt. On top of that, this location needs new property management, because they have let a Hilton brand hotel look more like a Super 8 or Motel 6 — definitely not what a Hilton should represent or look like. The only positives were the newer TV in the room and the evening and night staff, who were friendly and helpful. I stayed here back in July and nothing has changed since then.
Nice little property, conveniently located. Nice facilities, clean rooms and friendly staff!
I would stay again. Thank you.
Stayed here for a night. Typical Hampton Inn really, we always find them clean and comfortable. We had a good night sleep and moved on in the morning. Nothing stood out good or bad, hence the average rating.
Check in and check out was effortless and the staff was excellent. Lots of luggage carts to help with loading and unloading. Super clean and quiet. Will definitely stay again.
