Fairfield Inn & Suites Lafayette I-10

I was very disappointed that this location was closed due to damages. Instead of reaching out and notifying me they didn’t. They say if my reservation I got to the location just to find they were closed and I was not able to get my rewards back that I used towards the room.

Staff was Super Awesome and Rooms Were Clean

Overall real good . . . however, I didn’t like the waffle iron non-stick conditioner (chemicals) given to use instead of real natural oil spray, so I did not get waffles which I love. Don’t understand why Marriot uses chemical conditioner instead of real oil spray.

I Am Dissatisfied

The staff was great tending to everything we needed, the facilities are in need of some updates, but the beds did have comfortable pillow too mattresses which makes a big difference. I would stay again.

Convenience location for my trip

A bit stinky elevator out of service typical 20 year old property that has not been well maintained

Convenient , near the highway but had to take the car for dining etc

Key wouldn’t work, had to go to the front desk to get into the room Attendant said to just leave the door open if we needed to leave the room
Shower didn’t work, no water
Had to move to another room
The lock on the rear entry door was also broken so anyone could enter. It was all very unsafe
I would not recommend staying at this hotel

The shower was pretty dirty on the walls, and room was pretty warm though the night. Overall a good stay though.

Staff was great

Room door locked jammed, bathtub has black stains in it, trash under a bed, someone left a close hanger bathroom shower, refrigerator didn’t work, tv channels was barely any and color of screen was blue for all the channels! Noise from Highway was kinda ignoring. The breakfast was ok a

The breakfast was absolutely the worst that I had ever seen. Cold, stale,
& hard. Fresh fruit was very limited. I had a piece of toast, an orange and a container of yogurt. The second day was the same and skipped breakfast entirely. Not what you would expect from any hotel/motel let alone a Marriott. Very disappointed and will not return.

The first night was great. Breakfast was very good. We did hear traffic noise, but not too bad. We extended our stay to a second night and it was good. Breakfast the second morning was a nightmare! They were not staffed adequately for the occupancy. Kids were running around in breakfast area, making hot chocolate, mixing it with coffee, spilling juice & cereal, grabbing food, etc. The counters were a mess. The tables were littered with finished breakfast items spilled syrup, etc. The breakfast staff member was overwhelmed and did the best she could. She was also covering the front desk! We would stay again, considering this was possibly a one time fluke.

It was reasonable price and clean

They could not activate my reservation upon arrival although I had receipt and confirmation number. They put us in a room with one king bed and a sofa bed. We all had to sleep in one bed because the mattress and bedding on the sofa bed was unclean. There was hair left in the shower from a previous guest. The clerk who checked us in was trying to be helpful the first night but I guess became aggravated and was very rude the second night when I had to get our room key card reprogrammed. Other guests received a nice little gift bag upon arrival but we did not. The general manager did apologize for the problem at check-in when we checked out.

Clean and comfortable. Check-in Manager needs a personality, just shy of seeming annoyed by our interruption of whatever was going on in back, but got us in ok

Heated pool didn't work. Water was crazy cold.
