My experience with the Blazers Grill in the Hilton in Birmingham at UAB start 4-12-26 was great service had great service talk to Erika, Justice need anything they was there until Wednesday 4-15-26 morning for breakfast the regular cook(Elijah) wasn't in for the next 2 days it was the lady cook(Meka) Cook Sup I order pancake, scrambled eggs with cheese cooked in it not scrambled egg w/cheese melted on top of it. Got grits(lumpy and look like cream of something)and bacon. Wasn't what I expected from the days before. Had waitress Justice who help us and she was doing her best which was all the work by herself it was another waitress(Jackie) but she wasn't doing much. Came back Friday 4-17-26 and Erika, Justice and Elijah(guy cook) was there and the food was good. Tyrah(Breakfast Supervisor) came to apologize for the other day 4-15-26 for the food. I do give the lady's Erika, Justice and Elijah(guy cook)a 10+++ for all the help (service)when we do come in the restaurant. The rating is only for 4-15-26!!

Great breakfast service!
Pros:

Hotel room and accommodations were as described. I would love to give some Kudos to the server Justice. Not only was she kind but she remembered our drink and was highly attentive. She's awesome 👏

Definitely coming back!

Awesome Starbucks barista
Pros:

I want to give a shout out for Jakayla Edwards at the Hilton Starbucks! She has a sweet spirit and is real focused on pleasing the customer. She warmed up my pastry for me and got my morning off to a good start!

Great stay- we will be back!
Pros:

Very nice, clean and updated rooms! The staff are all bright and bubbly especially Amethyst in the restaurant! Breakfast was yummy- we ordered off menu and had buffet and both were great! (Amethyst’s co-worker was great too- they made a great team!). We are in Bham often and will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Stay
Pros:

Overall wonderful stay, checked in last night for work. Everyone was lovely while checking in and later into the night when I asked if they had a Publix near by, they offered to drive me there. Breakfast presentation was beautiful as well as delicious. Erika and Amethyst were so accommodating during breakfast, with great service. Over all, every interaction with staff at this hotel has been so warm and helpful.

Everything was great.

Cons:

I didn't think it was appropriate for us to have to pay for parking at the hotel parking garage that's just not right in my opinion so that's one huge turn off to my stay.

Amethyst was the best server we have had!
Pros:

We had such a great experience. I visited with 4 small kids (8,6,4, and 2). The lady who waited on us, her name was Amethyst, she was fantastic! We had such a wonderful time and felt more than taken care of. She took the time to make sure the kids and myself had everything we needed, and it can be hard traveling with small kids. I would highly recommend asking for her if you visit, she was superb.
