Topnotch service and comfort from check in to check out with all amenities on the property being amazing as well! The shutter service to the Tennis Tournament was well run with friendly on time service
It is not inexpensive to stay and play!
We travel a great deal and stay exclusively at Marriott properties, the RE is in our Top Five places to stay. From the moment you drive into the property you get vacation vibes, it’s simply beautiful with the flowers & mature palm trees. The staff here is excellent from the bell staff, the desk, “The Place” bar, house keeping and most importantly at the pool & pool bar. It’s just a fun place and a great experience.
Beautiful surroundings, pool, bar, and lobby.
The expense of basic items, like coffee, wine (in store), and water. We did not like that the bedding for the sofa bed, had only 1 thin blanket; it deserves a comforter since we are paying for 4 people in a suite room.
Beautiful resort, has everything you need for a relaxing weekend getaway.
Early checkout time, no option for late checkout
Price was absurd for what you are getting. They nickle and dime you with extras--parking, resort fee, etc.
After staying in the sub par Embassy Suites down the street last year, my wife and some other moms from my son’s travel baseball team went looking for other options. The embassy wasn’t that bad but I’d sleep in the dirt.
Anyhoo… let’s start with the staff. Everyone of the staff we encountered was so nice and helpful. From the bellhop to the valet( even though we conveniently self parked) to the house keeping team to the spa team( they let me go in the steam room a few minutes after hours, shhh) to the front desk.
The room was spacious and the beds were comfy. We had decent views even thought we looked across a rooftop. The decor reminded us we were in Palm Springs with cool photos in the also spacious bathroom.
It has a plenty big pool. Decent poolside food. There’s cornhole, ping pong and a foosball table. There’s an arcade but my son said he needed $20 bucks to load a card. Not happening.
We stayed from Tgiving day to Sunday of that weekend. So the Christmas decorations were already up. I’m usually against early Christmas decoration set up but these were tastefully done. Check out my video of the palms. Very cool.
We had an evening to just chill with the team and while we were hanging out around one of the fire pits a guy ( Jason) showed up with a hawk! He let Tex the Harris Hawk fly to each of us. It was a cool unique experience. My son loved it. We’d stay here again for a large group event for sure.
Beautiful hotel with everything we needed to end our vacation relaxing.
Warm pool. Nice and shallow allowing our son to play.
Nice big rooms. Amazing food from room service and on site restaurants.
Nice gym too.
We had a wonderful stay at the Renaissance Esmeralda! The resort has a great mix of relaxation and activity. One of the highlights was the tennis court, which also has pickleball court lines taped—perfect for either game. The best part is that the racquets, balls, and paddles are free to use, and you don’t even need a reservation. The courts were almost always empty, which made it easy to play whenever we wanted.
Our room was extremely spacious and quiet—we never heard any noise from other guests above or beside us. We had the large balcony room and it was a real treat, facing directly over the pool with an amazing view of the mountains. It felt quite private and was the perfect spot for morning coffee or evening sunsets.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay, always greeting us warmly and quick to assist with anything we needed.
The only downside was that housekeeping was quite slow—our room often wasn’t serviced until 4 p.m. or later. Also, be aware that if there’s a conference taking place, a large section of the pool loungers may be removed to make space for outdoor dining and event setups, which can limit poolside seating.
We also loved that the resort offers free bikes for guests to use. You can take them anywhere in the area, which made exploring so much fun and easy.
Overall, a beautiful, relaxing stay with great amenities and outstanding service—we’d definitely come back!
Very pretty resort (grounds and pool area). Good size room. Staff was very friendly and helpful, making a point of saying hello at every interaction. Our room had a great view of the mountains.
I don't care for the daily resort fee and the daily parking fee. It adds significantly to the total cost. This is not a negative but travelers should know that this hotel is 30 minutes from Palm Springs. This was a small issue for us because we typically spend a lot of time in Palm Springs.
beautiful and well maintain rooms / nice staff
