Good hotel in great location for city centre
Pros:

Location is great, breakfast is really good, standard rooms are also pretty good with modern clean bathrooms and comfortable beds. Premier rooms definitely need an upgrade, we were given one and honestly would’ve preferred an upgraded standard.

Lovely stay as always.
Pros:

Always a treat to come to the hotel, everything really good and everyone are so helpful.
Lovely food, both for an evening meal and the breakfasts too, so much choice.
Well done to all.

Cons:

The drinks we had at the bar in the evening (namely a double gin, mixer and a drop of lime, and a double French brandy )
had increased in price from the first to the second and third by £4.
I did querie this with the member of staff and was told that it was probably different staff members putting in the wrong amounts each time.
Sadly to say that the staff behind the bar were those who served the drinks.

Great location for exploring Exeter.
Pros:

Reception area, bar & restaurant all clean and modern

Cons:

Room was clean but needed a bit of tlc. The bathroom was fine (looks like it had been updated recently) but room decor and furniture was a little shabby. We also only had one sachet of coffee
