Very clean . Loved the spa , food was great , staff so helpful
Dated furniture in room
Perfect location close to town with parking
We stayed in room 268. When I say stay, we didn’t sleep. The noise for the outside foyer and the lift hydraulics was dreadful from late night smokers, chatting, phone conversations. Finally quiet at 4am . Shattered for a long drive home .

The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We had an evening meal which was really good and the breakfast was amazing! The pool, jacuzzi and sauna was a lovely added bonus! We stayed for 2 nights and we will definitely be returning.
We liked everything about the hotel and the facilities.
all went smoothly from checking in 1 hour early, to moving bags to the room, to checking out. Very friendly staff and knowledgeable about our stay. Helpful. everything worked. Spoken English was very good.

Very warm welcome on reception. Was offered free parking which was a lovely gesture. Room bathroom was nice. Had an evening meal on my return to the hotel which was surprisingly tasty. Breakfast was excellent and plenty of really good choice esp for traditional Continental fans (cheese, ham and salami etc).
Room. Very bad first impression. The sofa bed was made up despite me being on my own. It was reinstated with help but the sofa cushion had a dark red (unpleasant) stain on it. There was also a used toothbrush jammed into the mechanism. Windows were in a terrible state. It did not leave a good impression. Overhead lighting was necessary but awful. Wine list in the restaurant was terrible. Wine by the glass tasted of nail varnish remover which is a poor indication of quality - esp for the most expensive wine on the list. I tried three and settled for the second on thd list.
It was beautifully decorated for Christmas, staff very welcoming and friendly.
