The privilege room was excellent with a comfy bed and complimentary beers, water and juice. Very nice bathroom.
Sadly it appeared the kitchen and FoH staff were struggling with the food orders. I asked for some sauce to go with my burger (which was very nice) but 20 mins later I gave up, and the burger had been consumed anyway. Friendly bunch though
Lovely bar and brasserie with good food and pleasant staff.
Nothing
Superb stay. Very friendly, helpful staff.
We had a newly refurbished room on the top floor, which was excellent. Lovely spacious room and bathroom with everything we needed, including tea and coffee makers.
Breakfast was very good with a great range of foodstuffs and the best gluten free offer we have seen in a long time.
Location was great, near the cathedral and town. We knew about the paid parking onsite- it was good to have the car handy.
We didn’t use the pool and gym due to time but a lovely resource to have on hand.
Looking forward to our next stay.

Convenient, clean. Room well appointed and comfortable.
Lack of free bottled water during warm weather. A bit noisy and large window at car park level a bit off putting as there was quite a lot foot traffic passing by
Proximity to the city centre. Staff were friendly and professional.
Looking a
Little tired. No aircon spa pool not working
A comfortable hotel, the room was quite big, well furnished, with a very nice clean shower room and WC. There is a nice bar and restaurant on the ground floor. The hotel is situated 10 minutes walk from the centre, Cathedral, etc. Very good value for money.
The pool area was lovely and made up for the higher prices and super small room
The room was supper small for two adults and a child! I think if they know it’s more than two people in a room plus pet, especially when charging for the pet too! a little thoughtfulness would’ve changed this reviews direction.
(For context, I’m older, with a chronic health condition - mainly using the sauna/pool/jacuzzi for physical therapy.) During my trial session with Jack, Elliott and Izzy, I was immediately impressed by the welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. There was no hard sell - they were just friendly and knowledgeable, answering my many questions and giving all the information I needed. As a result, I signed up. After a couple of months as a member, I’ve found everyone to be helpful, professional and very much a team - always reassuring when staff seem to enjoy their work. (The number of long-term members around is also a good sign.)
Location , breakfast, very comfortable bed
Jacuzzi wasn't open as chemical imbalance. Can't be helped but disappointed
Very clean and well equipped, good spacious room. Staff were amazing.
We had room 178 which is on the front.of the hotel, could hear people talking outside till quite late but this is the only thing and no reflection on the hotel.
Such a good location
Bathroom was a bit smelly and no air conditioning. There was a fan but not really enough, especially the hot weather we have had.
Friendly staff, very helpfull. Lovely pool. Decent location easy walk to town/ quay side/ central station.
The 2 single bed zipped together as a double was quite annoying as it still creates a gap in the middle of the beds.- however we love this hotel and its our 4th time staying here!
Clean, comfortable & newly refurbished
Everything was fine
