Great location and value for money

Perfect location and great impressions throughout.
Pros:

Gluten free waffles and selection of honey and fresh fruits were great.
Loved the piano and seating in the reception hall.
Great location and nice that we get option to pay for parking.

Cons:

Gluten free cereal wasn't rated so well but we do get lidl or aldi gluten free normally so it could be a taste thing.

Lots of damage in the room. Broken tiles in shower and exposed screw plugs that look like they had been filled. Dreadful silicone and paint damage. No mention of breakfast situation or spa at was basically a rude check in. Couldn't wait to leave. Left without approaching desk even though I needed a receipt for business claim.

Me and my husband booked this hotel as a little getaway for our honeymoon, the staff were incredibly sweet and welcoming

Room kettle still half full of water, curtains threaded and torn and bathroom furniture poorly finished with silicone pealing away. Not exactly a prestige room.

Pros:

Major of staff were excellent, but the odd one not so good

Cons:

Bedroom too small for the price, bathroom mould around the edges outdated shower, as for the bed absolutely useless kept moving apart in the middle two single beds with two singles matrases just put together, reported it to reception nothing done about it, breakfast was dire luke warm, dry horrible we got a better breakfast in a Premier Inn, the whole outside requires upgrading. Would not stay again.
