I was very disappointed and will not be back.
Pros:

The location.

Cons:

There were stains in the carpet and sofa, dirty marks on the doors and walls. It was filthy and I felt terrible not having a clean enough space for my toddler to play. The staff was unhelpful when I brought up concerns. It did not feel well kept. Paying for parking is also ridiculous after paying to stay in the hotel. The meals took forever to be delivered.

Lost its charm and they have cheapened everything but the price
Pros:

The hotel needs a face lift and the amenities keep shrinking. They went from having the best concierge lounge to an awful one with cheep booze and bad food. The only highlight is the help is great.

Not the best IHG hotel ever, don't know how they got the title.
Pros:

I liked the swimming pool area

Cons:

The bathrooms are small, the food quality from the restaurant aren't the best quality, have to pay 35$per day for parking, no microwave in the room and the normal king room's balcony view was a bit of a ugly view. This was the worst IHG hotel I've ever visited. Was also charged incorrectly and without consent for 220$... Had a special request to make up the room for my wife's birthday on booking.com....they never got back to me and nothing was done to my room... Will have to wait a week for my incedental refund of 100$ and also the incorrectly charged amount of 220$

Roxann provided incredible service!!
Pros:

Our best experience was with Roxann who was working at the pool bar. She was on her own, but kept towels stocked, drinks were great, and she was friendly and worked so hard to make my 60th birthday weekend incredible! She deserves a raise!!!!

Beautiful, but that elevator noise on the 8th floor is killer-ALL NIGHT LONG
Pros:

No sleep! Stayed on the 8th floor you can hear the elevator all night long… Room did not have a mini fridge, but another in our party had a mini fridge in their room. There is a tiny snack shop debit/credit card self serve. Restaurant is nice, good food. Wear good walking shoes-It’s a couple of blocks to get to places. It’s a beautiful place though elegantly put together.

Day pass
Pros:

Roxann at the pool genuinely goes above and beyond to ensure all patrons are having a good experience. She is part of the reason we keep coming back. I know the pool and locker room are gong to be clean and that is peace of mind as well.

A once elegant hotel, now in decay
Pros:

Once elegant hotel has been allowed to decay both structurally and from the service standpoint by its management. The housekeeping was almost nonexistent. Have you ever been to a hotel where the toilet paper was not replaced? Linens not changed room not clean. Public bathrooms worse than a New York City subway station. General Repair and maintenance has clearly been deferred. Stained carpets rust around plumbing outlets cracked pavement, clogged plumbing. I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel.

An excellent hotel that has been allowed to visibly deteriorate
Pros:

An imposing hotel with a great location, good public spaces, large rooms, and generally friendly accommodating service. However, Ownership/ Management has obviously and undoubtedly purposefully allowed it to deteriorate by deferring maintenance and repairs. Walking into the hotel, in the public spaces, and even in the hotel room, rooms and bathrooms. There are signs of neglect decay. I’ve included some photos demonstrating that concern. Similarly housekeeping for guest rooms is spotty, haphazard, and incomplete.
