Pros:

Loved everything about it how it was close to everything including the highway especially the restaurant that was attached to it, everything was perfect especially the hot tub after a long drive they even upgraded my room when my shower didnt have hot water great staff great place

Not so great Super 8
Pros:

Good location, friendly staff

Cons:

Hot tub not working, pool was cold and dirty (bugs floating). Room next door had very loud heater so had to change rooms at almost 9pm or wouldn't have been able to sleep. Next morning were told pool area was closed because it was a holiday and no staff in for maintenance. Unhappy as the pool was the entire reason for our stay (we are local to the area, this was a "staycation"). We have stayed here many times and there is a consistent pattern of amenities not working and lack of compensation/ discount when you are obviously paying to access these spaces that are "out of order"

Themed room was a blast.
Pros:

Lucked out and the slide and pool were in operation, which judging by the reviews is not always the case. We stayed in a themed room and the kids love it. We had a door directly to the pool. The waffles were great. Seemed very clean

Cons:

Obviously very warn all over. Beds were okay but not super comfortable. I would expect it to be nicer based on the cost of the themed rooms.

Nothing about it. 10 out of 10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Cons:

For a room that costed $200 your think things would be more well kept. I specifically booked here to use the pool but when I looked at the pool from my room you could visibly see floating goo in the pool like it had not been cleaned in 2 years. I asked if the pool was closed for cleaning and the staff said no it is open to use! The breakfast is the typical cearal bar and bread yogurt fruit spread but the yogurt was expired and the bread was hard. The jam packets were hard inside clearly expired as well. I have stayed at many super 8 hotels all across bc and Alberta and this one was by far the worst maintained I had ever seen. May be suitable living in India but not canada. Especially when paying $200. Approximate value for what I received should be $75-$90 the parking lot had multiple crack heads walking around i was surprised to see my vehicle was not broken into over night. No area to walk pets outside for relief your in a paved parking lot to a grocery complex.

Pros:

The room had a door that went straight to the pool. The bunk beds were double beds.

Cons:

The one TV in the room did not work, and when we asked the front desk to fix it, they could not and said no discount could be offered since we booked through bookings.com.
The Space themed sheets are so old and thin you could see through them and looked like blowing on them would have them fall apart. The duvet was not much better, being faded and thin. The mattress was uncomfortable and had a spring that stuck in my hip all night.

Super eight in Castlegar BC
Pros:

we were there in a later part of the day so instead of travelling over the mountain at night, we decided to stay at super eight. They were very gracious to take and get us in and to our room, which is closest they could get to the bottom because the bottom floor was full other than that elevator being out in the hot tub being out it was a nice spot the ladies at the front desk were very good to work with

Would stay here again.
Pros:

Very friendly and helpful staff...a big shout out to them. Excellent location, jet pool was relaxing. Had specific parking for Motorcycles and our bike was always within view from lobby.

Cons:

The shower water would only warm up to a certain point and wouldn't get to a higher temp. Carpets are definitely showing years of use in the rooms.
