Strategic location

Good location, but you still need to take grab everywhere. Jakarta is not really a walkable place.

I stayed at ibis Styles Jakarta Tanah Abang for only about 12 hours during a transit stop, but the service I received deserves recognition.
The staff were welcoming and helpful, and I would especially like to thank Amy for the exceptional assistance she provided to me and my family.
When we arrived at the hotel, we had a serious issue with the driver who picked us up from the airport through a tour company. Even though the transportation had already been booked and paid for in advance, the driver demanded additional money and refused to unload our luggage.
Amy handled the situation with professionalism and calmness. She asked me and my family to enter the hotel and complete our check-in while she dealt with the situation outside. Her intervention made us feel safe and supported during a very stressful situation. She remained calm, respectful, and professional throughout the entire incident. This level of service and responsibility is something I truly appreciate.
Regarding the hotel itself, the rooms were small but beautifully designed with a distinctive and modern style. I also appreciated the availability of connecting rooms, which is very useful for families. Personally, I did not like the tiled floors without carpets, but this is a matter of preference.
The hotel also has a very nice kids’ corner. It was well designed and a great addition for families traveling with children.
Breakfast was acceptable, although nothing particularly memorable.
Overall, my stay was short, but the excellent service from the staff, especially Amy, made a strong impression on me. Employees who take responsibility and genuinely care about their guests can completely change the experience of a hotel stay. Thank you, Amy, for your exceptional support and professionalism.

Location: Excellent. The hotel is conveniently located near Tanah Abang, making it easy to get around the city and access nearby areas like Grand Indonesia Mall, Sarinah or Thamrin Mall within 10min
Service: Good. The reception staff spoke good English and were helpful throughout my stay. Outside food is allowed, which is very convenient. I also found the bellboys to be very respectful, polite, and always ready to greet guests.
Cleanliness & Hygiene: Overall very good. The room and common areas were well maintained. I also walked around the hotel during my stay and noticed that the surroundings and public areas were kept clean and tidy.
Room & Amenities: The bed was comfortable and the room was practical. There are universal power sockets near the table and bed, which is very convenient for international travelers. There is also a proper table for working or having meals, with USB and charging ports nearby. The Wi-Fi connection inside the room was good and stable. The roomservice will check with you around 11am or 10.30am in the morning to check with you what's your prefer time to clean the room.
The TV offers more than 30 channels, which gives you plenty of options if you want to relax in the room.
Air Conditioning: The AC worked very well and could easily be adjusted according to my preference. I normally switched it off before sleeping, and the room was still comfortably cool when I woke up in the morning.
Water Pressure: Good and consistent. The shower was especially enjoyable after spending a long day outside.
I also noticed the Operations Manager, Made Dayu Andria, personally checking and monitoring different areas of the hotel while I was having breakfast and again around the lobby. It was nice to see management actively paying attention to the overall guest experience and hotel operations. Overall, another comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The staff was very friendly, hotel was clean and the location is good. I forgot some things in my storage when I checked out and Vivian and Fitri in particular were extremely helpful, making sure to bring it to me before my train left despite extremely limited time. Would absolutely recommend!

The hotel is in a great location and the facilities are very good.
