The property and views are lovely the parking is very limited and had too park in car park across the road which was very busy so parked at top of car park quite a walk and an extra £10 50 for parking 24hours you dont know this until you book a room then get an email later telling you this
Fabulous location, super friendly staff. Bedroom lovely and really comfortable. Would highly recommend a visit.
Good location and friendly helpful staff but cramped rooms
A very nice welcoming place. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great base for visiting around. Lovely walk along the beach to the castle. We will be back to go on an Island boat trip. Thanks for a lovely stay x
Caveat Emptor
Until the issue is fixed, avoid room 10, one of 7 very expensive Superior Balcony Rooms. The room suffers from excessive noise (sounding like a wind turbine or extractor fan) and makes sleep difficult if not, as in our case, impossible. Also, from the room, there is no ‘spectacular harbour view’ only a view of the sea over the beer garden. Hopefully the noise issue can be resolved. It would also be helpful if, on the company’s website, each of the 7 Balcony Rooms had a photograph of the view from that room.
Hotel was amazing but very hot in the bedrooms there was a fan provided but still very hot.
2 nights not much sleep due to very loud kitchen extractor fan in a room opposite rooms 10 & 12

Quaint property, very clean, staff friendly and helpful, good breakfast and varied menu
Wonderful location
Enjoyed our stay. Room was refurbished and clean but small and a bit dark as there was only one small window. Breakfast buffet excellent and staff were pleasant and hard working.
Over priced for the age if the facility
We booked this very last minute and got the last room! It was advertised as small and delivered. Beggars cant be choosers but it was clean and comfortable. The car park is small so unless you're there early its one of the many privately owned car parks in the town and harbour. Beware of the time limits and restrictions. Hotel has a lovely outside seating area in the late afternoon sunshine. Didn't have diner at the hotel but breakfast was buffet style with an excellent choice for all the fussy eaters. We would stay here again.
We had a room with a balcony overlooking the coast, and the view was lovely. Wi-fi was not available during our stay. The bathroom window wouldn`t open and we couldn`t get the shower gel and soap dispensers to work. The bed was very comfortable. Car parking spaces are limited- we managed to get the last one. Some of the seats were missing as they had gone to be repaired.
Car parking was atrocious. I am disabled and it was difficult to park the car. Hotel car park too small and nearby car park should be used via an arrangement with the local council. We should have been told that blue badge parking was always free in that car park.
This was a rabbit warren of a hotel, with rooms of all shapes and sizes scattered throughout the site. We were initially given a very dark room, which was a strange shape, and a yapping dog next door; we were given a much better room when we complained.
There was a problem with the wifi connection throughout our stay, and as the mobile phone signal was poor, we had to leave the hotel to get an internet connection.
There was insufficient car parking on site and so we had to pay £10.80 per day at a nearby car park.
Everything was good the reception desk very helpful. Dinner was terrible.
Great location if going on a cruise to Farbe Islands as is clise to Seahouses Harbour where they leave from.
Great location, helpful staff. Food was good . Inn was very clean.
The hotel is located by the harbour and close to shops and restaurants. Parking on-site is limited. Breakfast was good, with a good selection of items. Our room (30) was really hot, and quite noisy (we could hear the room next door’s TV and dogs).
I was on my own (newly widowed) but very relaxed at the Bamburgh Castle. Staff were all very kind and helpful.
A room with balcony looking over the harbour was really special.
