Helpful and friendly staff, easy valet parking, comfortable and stylish room and hotel.
Pros:

All Staff was friendly and helpful, location was very good for what we planned for that area of the city. Breakfast was good and I like the dining area which has large windows with sunshine! I enjoyed the modern design of the hotel.

Cons:

1) Nonstop and numerous email and text reminders. Overbearing and after a while I just ignored. I wasn't sure if there was something I forgot or just informational. The urgency of the messages are misleading. I'm not sure if this is the norm for LA properties throughout LA or if this is unique to the Godfrey. In any case, it was annoying since I was on vacation. I fully realize that there are opt out options, but if you suffer from FOMO, it's going to drive customers absolutely insane. 2) I was given an interior room. I didn't realize there were interior rooms, was this mentioned when I booked through Booking.com? I would have chosen an outer room.

Clean, well placed hotel. Competitively priced but be prepared to be stung for additional costs.
Pros:

Location is very good. Close to Hollywood sights and plenty of shops, bars and restaurants.
The rooftop pool and bar were nice, with excellent views, although the bar was overpriced.
Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Cons:

Staff could be friendly and helpful or sullen and rude depending on when you spoke to them. There was also a lot of noise from the street. Unexpected charges for amenities and deposits totalling hundreds were extremely disappointing.

Great location for walking to Hollywood walk of fame. Hotel rooftop bar was massive and great for a cocktail at night.

Cons:

This hotel was expensive for what it was. Rooms were quite small. If you have a room facing hollywood sign you also have a nightclub next door which was so loud especially when had just come in off a 13 hour flight. Girl on reception wasnt overly helpful or friendly.

Beautiful rooftop with pool in the middle of Hollywood. Small room but very comfy bed and clean.
Pros:

Loved that it was quiet, could not hear traffic from outside (had a courtyard room), clean and the Illy coffee in the room was great! I loved the rooftop area, plenty of seating areas, high tops and lounge chairs around the pool. Amazing views! I also appreciated the $10 gift cards per/night to use for breakfast.

Cons:

My last night, was a Saturday and there was so much noise in the hallways that I could not sleep. People partying. The hotel however, refunded me the last night stay, which was very generous of them. I had already read other reviews so I knew that the room would be very small. It definitely is small and there's not much space for any luggage or to put away your clothes. Only a small hanging area. No drawers, place to put shoes, etc

Beliggenhet var perfekt for oss. Pent rom med god og stor seng. Deilig med basseng, og vannet var varmt til mars å være, usikker på om det er oppvarmet. Treningsrom var lite, men funksjonelt.
Meget imøtekommende og trivelige ansatte.
Kommer gjerne igjen.
